Not attacking you mind you, just in terms of CE it's one of the more half assed ones out there. I Can't imagine anyone spending the original MSRP and not wanting to kill themselves after taking it out of the box.

The PS3 SF X T stick I ordered works great... except the "O"button doesn't register at all.

Don't really want to risk opening up the stick and plugging in one of my spare buttons to find out it's a damaged wire or something.

Shot Madcatz support an email but not really hopeful. Will probably end up going back to amazon.

DON'T send it back! If the stick itself is in great shape aside from the one button, it's very easy to swap out the button, open it up and pull out two quick disconnect wires from the bad button. Replace it with another button and see if it works. If it doesn't. then it's the motherboard and should be returned.

That's what I'm talking about.

Sure it's easy to open and swap the button but doing so will void the warranty (since it will tamper with the "do not remove" sticker on the bottom.

The TE sticks made it simple to open from the top but with these sticks you have to open from the bottom.

It is so tempting to open up since it's probably a quick fix, but I don't think amazon will accept the return if I open it up.

I guess I am somewhat lucky for not buying the fightstick O.o
Probably just gonna buy it brand new.

Yeah, I can't complain too much. It's always a gamble, but Amazon's customer service as always is top notch. They paid for the shipping back with no hassle and gave me a $10 credit for my troubles. Got it back in the mail to them this morning.

Guess I'll just wait it out and hope to get a good price for a brand new one. I ordered a mini-vac at the same time as the game and joked that I needed to make sure they didn't send me a hair dryer.
