Target Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II (PC) $5.25 @ Target B&M

KOTOR II is on temporary price cut at Target for 5.25. A little less enticing since it is now on Steam, but still a good deal.

Depends on the gamer.

Won't have to take the time to download it, if you buy it at Retail.
Won't have to deal w/ Steam DRM, if you buy it at Retail.
You'll have to probably find Retail patches somewhere online, though.

Though, Steam version, will likely be up-to-date.
Might be a pain-in-the-butt to mod, w/ Steam version.
Always before modding a Steam game, back your game up somewhere else in a clean-unmodded state, so you don't have to re-download the entire game, in case you need to go back to a clean-unmodded state.

Thanks for the tip. The only reason to get this game now is to mod it.

There is a $20 combo pack of KOTOR I/II that just came out a month ago available at WM, GS, & online sellers that is fully patched on the disk, which this version will not be. Something to consider.

About time. Always baffled me how this game collected dust in Target's game section for at least five years without getting clearanced.

Don't forget the mod that restores some of the content that Obsidian couldn't finish in time.

I don't see it in the Steam-activation list.
