Last night I was just messing around with the Browns, so I decided to play the Eagles.

DeSean Jackson rolled off a pile up on a kick off and ran for an extra 5 yards or so. Thought that was pretty sweet to see.

I also deflected a pass from Mike Vick at the line (he was on his 20). The ball shot back at least 30 yards or so and was ruled a safety lol.

Yes I have had that happen with a pile up. Except my friend was on my 5 yard line when he did it. I thought the play was over, but the camera moved like the ball was fumbled yet there was no fumble message. A couple seconds later the running back got up off the pile and ran into the endzone for a TD. I was not amused to say the least.

My only complaint with that the running back was not advancing the ball for a long enough time that any normal play would have been blown dead.

I've also had a receiver go up for a jump ball with a defender and neither of them caught it and fell to the ground. The ball ended up falling on top of them and just sitting there. Eventually another defender came over and picked the ball up and it was ruled an interception. I like how the play continued as long as the ball was still live, but I don't like the inability of the player on the ground to recognize that a live ball is sitting on his chest.

I had a similar play where I tackled a guy, and he landed on top of one of my defensive backs, and therefore wasn't ruled down. But the guy just laid there on his back flailing around like a turtle until my defensive player finally rolled out from under him and he fell to the turf ending the play, lol. That's one of those things with EA where I'm not sure if it makes the game more realistic or less realistic. In theory, it's a good idea...but in practice...ehhh...hahaha.

I've seen some penalties I'd never seen in madden before.
