The disc was loose in my copy.

They do have good sales...but it sucks to have to wait for the game to arrive, only to find it destroyed, and wait for a replacement.
And I'm sorry..not to totally rag on them...but they must deliberately send out the smashed case in hopes your not going to complain...because the replacement is always perfect...so the fault is not with the shipping.

is the damn ps3 version ever going to come back in stock?

I used shoprunner so this may be why, but newegg sent my copy in a giant box 10 times bigger than the game itself so it was well protected.

Hmm received my copy yesterday and it looks like the game was opened and resealed as the shrink wrap looks different wtf? Anyone else noticed this?

I used ShopRunner too, but still got the standard bubble envelope. I haven't cracked into the shrink wrap yet, but all looks well on my 360 copy.

Same thing happened to me.

Man, I just got the PS3 version in yesterday and it was a shrink wrapped copy :(

There's nothing to worry about, you've received a new copy. My DMC Collection was also shrink-wrapped. The wrapping depends on which plant they used to manufacture the discs.

man, i order my copy last friday and i yet to receive it. WTF, theres a retail store in industry city, it shouldn't take that long to get to LA.

The shrink wrap is normal. Capcom uses it from time to time with online retailers. I got Okamiden and a Phoenix Wright directly shipped from Amazon with that same crappy shrink wrap, games were of course brand new. So nothing to worry about...

And just in case anyone missed it...The Xbox 360 Version is back in stock...same price

Just got my copy in yesterday. After seeing posts of people's cases being crushed and discs being loose I was worried about mine but it came in with decent shrinkwrap, no loose disc, and the case appears to have no physical damage.

Its a 10 off code sent randomly by newegg. I believe the code is tied to only one account. I got one a couple days ago but used in on dynasty warriors 7 instead coz the ps3 version of dmc is oos. =(

finally! It came today. Does newegg always take a week to deliver stuff or what?
