Keep it to PM's, and only make announcements in here when trades are approved.

Damn...choosing a committee really makes me feel like a politician. Like I know that the best "cabinet" should include people who's views aren't always the same as my own...but man, this is tough, lol. I feel like there are two major factors: veteran status and activity level in the thread (well...in addition to the obvious, knowledge of the game and impartiality).
Yeah I think trades should be secret until they are revealed. Unless we can get a real life Adam Schefter to break open a rumor.

Can I assume the Whitworth trade is about dumping salary?

not really i told him who i wanted he told me who he wanted and i have another left tackle that will fill the spot just fine but im thin at decent WRs so i need a good target so im fine with the trade plus he takes a little hit with age and i take a little hit with overall difference i think its even

Trade between the Patriots(Hemingway) and the Browns(fseacrest)

Browns Receive:

Tom Brady- QB-age 35- 93 ovr under current scheme, 3 years remaining- Total 53.74- 2012-14.21, 2013-17.58, 2014-21.95
Rob Ninkovich- DE-age28- 72 regular ovr, in 3-4 schemes his rating is low 80's. 2 years remaining- Total- 2 Million, 2012-1.87, 2013-2.13

Patriots Receive:
Joe Haden- CB-age 23- 91 ovr in my scheme, has great man to man which is what i look for. 3 years remaining- Total-27.65, 2012-7.67, 2013-9.07, 2014-10.91
Brandon Weeden- QB-age 28- 75 ovr in my scheme- 4 years remaining, Total-8 millions, 2012-1.65, 2013-1.84, 2014-2.09, 2015-2.42

The Patriots cap before the trade is 17.74 million and the Browns are 20.92 so we both have a lot of cap to make this trade work. He gets the franchise qb he wants, i get the man to man corner i like.

Trade between Green Bay and Miami. This will have to be done in two separate trades because it involves four players/draft picks from each side.

Green Bay(Steggy) receives-

Mike Pouncey- 23 years old- C- 79 ovr- 2012- 2.17, Total remaining- 9.40 over 4 years
Reggie Bush- 27 years old- Rb- 87 ovr- 2012- 5.52, total remaing- 5.52 over 1 year
1st and 2nd round pick

Miami(chetty12) receives-

Greg Jennings- 29 years old- Wr- 92 ovr- 2012-8.26, total remaining- 8.26 over 1 year
Davon House- 23 years old- Cb- 73 ovr- 2012- 480k, total remaining- 2.2 over 3 years
Jeff Saturday- 37 years old- C- 86 ovr- 2012- 3.9, total remaining 7.8 over 2 years
James Starks- 26 years old- Rb- 74 ovr- 2012- 520k, total remaining 2.00 over 2 years.

All ovr are from my scheme. I get a number one receiver, an experienced C, a decent Man to Man nickel corner, and a replacement Rb. I get the higher overall players, which is why the draft picks are involved. I believe Steggy also did this trade to free up a little cap room, i believe he gains around 5 million.

100% why I did it.... Clay matthews will eat up a lot of cash after his contract is up this year. Inevitably I would not be allowed to sign jennings and I am simply cleaning shop now with this trade, as I am pretty sound at wr.

No it was not a slam at all! I simply was reminiscent of my youth and a time where higher powers controlled what I loved dearly....

Here's how I see it:

Saturday is a bit better than Pouncey now, but much older and more expensive. Jennings is better than Bush and since both are free agents after the season the cap room this year is kind of irrelevant. That leaves Stars and House for the picks, which on the surface seems ridiculous but the picks also help make up for the difference in the present in overalls that GB is giving up. Personally I think a first and a second is a bit much, but it's fair.
