So while this is not actually on sale it is still technically a deal since it will be gone forever in less than 2 days. Important to anyone who has or plans to get these games, especially MUA2 since there is no Gold Edition. The content that will be gone soon includes

Please note the Teasers won't allow you to play with the characters or get any DLC achievements, but you'll be unable to play these games with people who have if you do not download these... If you plan on playing these games I recommend at least the free teasers.

Note to completionist, the DLC is worth an extra 250 Gamerscore to each game.

You need both the Heroes and Villains packs on MUA1 to get the full 250G (Heroes has 100G while Villains has 150G) so its obviously cheaper to buy them together. These are also available on the Gold Edition of the game, but its a lot rarer and more expensive since it contains DLC that disappeared and soon will again.

Only the Character and Sims Pack is required for the 250G, no achievements for Juggernaut, he's just kick @$$!!! There is no other way to get DLC for MUA2 after the 31st!!!!

Why is this going away anyway? I dont play this game but this shouldn't happen to content exclusive to digital distribution.

You would think Activison would attempt to put these things on sale to get some more sales knowing it would soon be pulled.

Both games sucked...I bought my xbox when it came with Marvel UA 1.......

played for 5 minutes, never touched it again..

I thought the games were pretty enjoyable, but I would have to spend $22 to get these DLC's that will never appear on the digital market.
The DLC's might come back through the new IP holder?

The reason the DLC disappeared and will again is becuase of License aggrements between Activision and Marvel. Their contract ran out last year and that's why it disappeared originally. Thanks to all of us who complained Activision apparently worked out a deal for the remainder of this year but do not plan to do so again. Its basically now or never (especially on MUA2 since no Gold Ed and Activision has said there will not be one either)

As far as the Gold Edition on MUA1.... getting it cheaper? Good Luck, but I wouldn't hold my breath... it shot up in price the last time DLC went away, expect it will do so again

I personally loved the 1st game, tho the second was way to dumbed down, still enjoyable tho. I have owned both DLC since they originally came out.

I had hoped Activision would have pushed last minute sales by dropping the price, but that was just wishful thinking. Doesn't effect me since I have owned them both for so long, but woulda been great for people who hadnt

Please forgive my ignorance, but if I have Marvel Ultimate Alliance 'Gold Edition', can I assume that I do not need to purchase the Heroes or the Villains pack? The extra characters DLC is on the disc already, is that correct?

yes... Both DLC are on the Gold Ed Disc with the full 1250G... nothing more to buy

i would buy the dlc just to have it but not for that many ms points.

I checked on my LIVE account to make sure I had all the DLC for MUA1, which I bought and played the hell out of, but it is saying I don't own any of it. Any ideas as to what is up with that??

It got taken down for a while, so it probably reset your ownership status. Try finding it in your download history so you don't have to re-pay.

So glad we got one last chance at this. Grabbed it and finished the last of it today. Now I don't have to hunt down someone with the GE.

Bring up the guide with the guide button in the middle of the controller, look around until you find "Account Management".

If you're interested in the MUA2 DLC in the slightest you should pick it up, all the characters are actuallly really fun to play.

I checked PSN and this has already been taken down. Any idea why they would remove it early?

I bought both packs and only own MUA2 at the moment. I highly suggest everyone pick up the DLC if you have any interest in playing either games so you can have the achievements and all of that.
