This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

Dear CAGs,
I just moved to Singapore about 7 weeks ago. It's been great so far. I left my Xbox 360 thinking people would want to use it but it seems that it's been sitting in the back of the car... in the sun. Anyway, I'm thinking about buying a 360 here. What is the best place to do that? What's the regular price for a console here? Prices just differ so much around here from shop to shop. Challenger seems to be the one place where the price was the best. I want to play Gear of War 3 so I don't mind getting that one - even though the console itself is hideous. Too bad there's no Arkham or Skyrim version. If anyone has one for sale then please let me know - even the older ones would be ok. I'll also be traveling around the region so if you guys think it's better to get a deal somewhere else then please let me know. Thanks guys. PS. If you are ever up for a drink or something, that'd be great. I need to meet people here. Cheers. Corran.

Hey, I know this thread is pretty old, but I've been there, and if you're looking to get a 360 there, your best bet is indeed a retail chain like Challenger, or any of the game stores in Funan Mall. They probably all sell them at the standard retail price, so you can't go wrong there.
There are other reputable sellers around the country, so it'll depend on where you live, cause they probably all have them at the same price. Microsoft has a significant local presence there, so there definitely is a standard retail price... Which shops did you visit? There are several variations of the console being sold there, same as how the US has the 4GB Arcade version, 320GB Elite, etc, so it's up to you which you'd prefer. Definitely NEVER EVER get anything gaming related from shopping centres like Lucky Plaza and Sim Lim Square though. The latter is great for buying PC parts and assembling your own desktop, but for console gaming, they're rip-offs. I actually sent you a PM with more advice on game collecting in Singapore, so if you're still in the country and need more help with that, do let me know. I'll be happy to help. |
