Hey guys, newegg on ebay daily deals has the 500 gb playstation 3 bundled with Assassin's Creed 3 and 30 days of Playstation plus for 229.99 and free shipping. No tax except in CA TN and NJ i think. Links below:

Might be the same price on their site if you want to use shoprunner for free 2 day delivery, though possibly not live yet, shows up 229.99 in search results on newegg.com but not on the product page

I see $299.99 on neweggs website, is there a code to use?

maybe it hasn't updated yet, if you search for it on newegg.com its showing up as 229.99 in the search results but your right still 299.99 when you click on it, so maybe needs to update?

When I click the newegg link, it shows $299.

Only took about 5 days since the announcement. I was wondering when the PS3 deals would show up haha.

*Edit: I just bought one off of eBay. I wanted to wait for newegg.com to update so I could get the shoprunner fast shipping but they are starting to sell fast on eBay and I didn't want to chance it.

Just search for PS3 500GB. It will come up $229 in the search list but if you go to the item page or put it in your cart it's still $299.

Anyway, it doesn't matter much because that price is not live yet on newegg.com. I'm sure someone will post here when it goes live there, assuming it doesn't sell out on eBay first.

Unless someone has Newegg credit, I don't see why someone wouldn't just buy from them through ebay instead since taxes would still apply.

Too bad its the super slim. Still waiting on a normal slim to store for when my current slim eventually breaks some years down the road.

Why is the super slim bad worse than the regular slim? (I have an original fat & haven't really concerned myself with the new models)

Top loading, cheaper build materials, (some report it being louder when reading discs).

Not a big deal as they sell the consoles for cheaper, but just a personal preference. It does have benefits (it uses less power, so it gets less hot)

Some of us got in on the Shoprunner free for a year two years deal so it would ship faster with Shoprunner via newegg.com since there does not seem to be that option with eBay.

Anyway, it's only a few days difference at most so not a huge deal.

Not too bad a deal! Imagine how sweet the black Friday PS3 bundles are gonna be this year. That is when I'll finally own one.
