UPDATE 8/28 Evening

If Richard 18 did pick up the last True Crime 2 days ago and didn't see anthing else, it is safe to say that they have these new batches every Monday (or at least when they have too much stock of these games every week)

They have updated this table with a new batch of games, this time it's not as exciting as last week but still one or two good ones to be had, personally I didn't pick up anything yet... they have all these on a table, games are either marked $9.99 or $4.99 but the remaining games from last week are not updated. and they do not have the new BLOWOUT SALES sheet printed at the register or the table yet (the register is still posting last week's paper)



Leftovers from previous week:

there are back to school coupons that you may use and may even qualify for another 10% off, if they let you. since these games are scanned at their sticker price i had to point out to the girl that they are on clearance, needless to say, she was very sorry because the blowout lists are posted next to each cash register.

these may be as well YMMV since I have not confirmed in other BB's. so if anyone are interested, PM me, I can grab these for you, pay me for game, postage and a buck or two for gas and I can ship them to you. I'm looking for trades as well.

I also found some Super Mario Advance 4 (SMB3) E-reader cards for 2 dollars. are those worth it???

Update 8/22:
- I'd hate to turn this into a sale/trade thread but I've been getting like PMs like crazy and yeah there won't be enough BW for everyone since there are 20 copies wanted on my list and the table had like 2-3 left...

- sad update from a fellow CAG who hit up the BB already and said that the $5.99 table is gone, I will confirm if I can just get away for lunch. which doesn't look like it since I spent most of the time returning PMs... if not im going there after work

- if I'm lucky to get anything, I'll open up a new thread for the purpose of fulfilling the requests.

- and no dont thank me, i've gotten enough deals off you cheapasses :-) , i'd love to help out if i can...

UPDATE 8/22 Evening

Sorry but this is kind of a disappointment. I couldn't leave work today until after 6:30, but when I got there around 7, they are already closed. Normally they close at 9,. i think they're doing some kind of inventory check since the employees are all taking their cigarette breaks still but won't let customers in.

I'll try again tomorrow IF they still have a table there

This may be related anyway, maybe they see too many copies of these games lying around, and tried to get rid of them via the Blowout sale table before taking inventory?

UPDATE 8/23 Evening

They still have the table, although all Battalion Wars are now gone. I cannot locate them. They have a LOT of FF:CC and GUN left. I can still do this for CAGs, but UNLESS I PM'ed you back recently, I did not get anything for you because I assume that most people wanted to "tack stuff on" with Battalion Wars. So, if you still want the games left on this updated list, PM me.




UPDATE 8/24 Evening

They still have the table, and its tidied up a little bit.
Only a few games left, see above. One new addition is the XBOX NFL Wireless Controller from EA or something for 10 bucks, I didn't bother to check for quality as I was going in to grab Gun and True Crime for a few people who's still wants me to grab these games.

I'm beginning to think that this Norwalk BB will have these sales a lot, since it does look like they do update this particular table (yeah only a controller, but they do have a new "blowout sale" sheet posted on the table that now no longer lists the OOS games such as BW or Call Of Duty 2. I may just have to check this store out every once in a while!

And the cashier recognized me already, "you again?" the african american lady was nice, but she's pissed that she always need the manager to override the prices since they all scan at 29.99 or 19.99 or whatnot.

now that I think about it, I should've loaded an XBOX 360 COD2 in there and told her that it's part of the sale when I was there yesterday... the list does not specify which system.

I'm not going to go back to work until Monday, by then I'm sure the table will be gone (or hopefully newer games cleared out on my new favorite table), so don't bother PM'ing me to get games until I have another update here next week. Thanks and cheers all.

Thinking about getting Gun, I rented it and loved it (Didn't finish it, I never finish rented games. I've got the Game Pass, so I just swap the games out whenever I want to)

oh and for me, they probably wont work with GGC because they dont have any at the counter and i dont have any.

FF:CC is still not worth it. Just because it has the FF name doesn't mean it's not shit.

Heh, well this is the clearance I was talking about in another thread, I just needed to confirm it at another store. Although, what I saw was very different, and consisted of various games priced at $10 and $5 and then a bunch of unmarked games set aside, I know GUN was in that pile, I was FF:CC and FF X-2. Maybe they were just getting moved away for the upcomming clearance.

Not at all, if you are looking for an enjoyable FPS game. For 6 bucks GUN is dang hard to beat. It just seems like many FPS games get clearanced quickly.

First off, OP, this is the way to do random clearance sales. A big fat picture and then a summary underneath, much much better than the "Uh, I think I saw this game at some price I don't remember" that's all too common. Kudos, good sir.



Other than that, only thing in this sale that looks tempting is CoD.

Nice deal on BW....would give Da Vinci a spin for that price, despite it predictably being a stinker.
