go work at party city if you are 16. My sister worked there and she said that job was easy because only during holidays are there actually a lot of people that go there.

Be a paper boy. If you ride your bike it would be good excercise.

See if any friends/neighbors/relatives are in any sort of cleaning industry. A couple of hours a week, probably under the table, and you've got a job and learning experience in one.

Find the most back breaking and difficult job possible. While it sounds insane, it will build a good strong work foundation. And besides that, once you move on, no job will ever seem difficult compared to it.

Try construction sites, mom and pop restraunts, mow laws, manual labor for cash is the way to go.

the 100k a year thing is really hard to belive.

Lets say this person actually made 100k a year for 1 year .

lets be realistic and say he spent 20k to buy the items then resold them and made 80k profit. Still very hard to beleive. (you will find it very hard to buy crap and sell it at 5x or more profit)

Now lets minus Ebay fees and lets say the 80k turns into 75k

Continue to say that half of his payers used Paypal.

Minus paypal fees now.

brings you down to about 70k a year. Still unbeleiveable. and very hard to beleive.

this one guy i use to work with said the same thing though.

that his wife did this and was making a lot.

after talking with him more and more it really wasnt that much money at all

Maybe,....MAYBE 10k profit per year. She did it part time.

Oh well.

Very true. My previous part-time job was at a car wash place. They treated their employees like crap. The part-time teenagers (like myself) didn't have a fixed schedule. They just expected us to show up and wait to be clocked in. Most days I would show up and wait in the break room for 30mins - 1 hour to be clocked in. When I finally did get clocked in, they wouldn't let me take a break until the cars started to slow down (which would sometimes last until the night). Sometimes I would show up, wait for an hour and never get clocked in because business is slow, so I just leave. When I finally did get clocked in, they would sometimes keep me working out in the heat, washing cars non-stop for 8+ hours. I sometimes felt like I was going to die at the end of the day. I probably could report them for violating some kind of rules, but I know most of the employees don't speak english and need that job badly since they cannot get hired other places without knowing english.

I only kept that job for a few months, since it was so flexible and good for someone who is schooling at the same time. My new job at blockbuster seems so much more easier now, even though alot of the employees complain about how busy we get on weekends. I'm just happy I get breaks and get to work indoors.

Party city hires 16 year olds? There is one really close to my house. Might be a good job... anyone else worked there?
