Anyone in the Flint area going to be waiting somewhere for a Wii? Are their any CAGers in this area?

I thought, we are getting so many Wiis that waiting doesn't matter. o_O Unless you just want it first so you can run home and play it. ^.^ I might go down and see if their is a line but I am not in your area. heh

I'm getting my Wii on launch from a hook-up at Wal Mart. Even if I didn't have connections there, I wouldn't camp anyway. Sounds like there's going to be plenty of Wii for everyone on launch.

See, I'm just not real sure of that. 4 million is a lot of systems, but spread over a month and a 1/2 and Japan/NA/Europe/Australia? That could make a prechristmas bite hard to find.

That, and I'm impatient. I might check out our WalMart for a midnight opening rather than camping

As long as I get one within two weeks or so I'm good, but if word gets out that there will be a shortage, who knows what I'll do. I live in West Bloomfield though, so I don't imagine I'll be coming up to Flint =P.

I'm in Lansing, but not camping. If I can't get one before Christmas, I'll be disappointed, but I'll just get Zelda for GCN.

Hey, I've called them a few times to see about preordering (maybe even talked to you on the phone this afternoon about it! ), but last word is they're not sure if they're taking preorders. You have any more inside info or can ya pencil me into a list?

I'm in Traverse City, and I'm not camping because I'm #3 on the FYE list. If I don't get one launch day, I'll just wait until FYE gets the next shipment. Camping would be fun, though.

I was, but I have an internship in Michigan for this year. Only about 90 minutes from Ohio though!

If anyone here is planning to get their Wii at midnight at a Meijer, just PM and I'll know the model stock for each store prior to launch. That way you are camping at a Meijer where the Wiis are plentiful.

Anyone in the Flintish area want to hook up and wait outside EB/GS in Grand Blanc for Wii preorders tomorrow? I'm gonna try to get the morning off from work (easily done), and was planning on going ~9:00, but if some CAGers want to meet up for some DS play, I'd go earlier.

Did you make it? I'm just curious, because I stopped by one of the Westland Gamestops friday night (non-wii related) and they had a sign up that said something like "Wii are sorry, but wii are no longer doing wii preorders." Aside from the not-so-clever wording, I was surprised that they had to put a sign up because I really didn't expect the wii preorders to fly...

Anyone in the Lansing area should check the Meijer on Cedar st. just off I-96. I got my Wii there on Tuesday. They're getting shipments of 10-12 of them on Monday evenings and they put them out semi-early Tuesday mornings. I strolled in about 8:45 and found 12 of them to my amazement.

Unfortunately, they aren't getting any accessories in. Apparently they didn't order any, so hitch it accross the street to Target and you may find some motes if you are as lucky as I was..
