The Strawberries in Farmington is going out of business on Tuesday, September 26th and they are having buy one get one free on all of their used merchandise. They had a lot of recently released products used in terms of TV box sets and video games. Some of the things I can remember are:

video games:
Kingdom Hearts 2
NCAA Football 2007(PS2 and 360)
Tomb Raider Legends(PSP)
Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion regular and collectors edition
Monster Hunter Freedom
Black(PS2 and Xbox)
Madden 2007(Xbox 360)
Kameo
Ninety-Nine Nights
Need For Speed Most Wanted(xbox 360)
Field Commander
Hitman Blood Money(Xbox 360)
Saints Row
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II(Xbox 360)
NBA Ballers (PSP)
Daxter
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter(All platforms)

and many others for different platforms. Most of the used games were already boxed up but they were able to open the boxes up so you can see what they had left used.

For DVD's, they had:

Lost seasons 1 and 2
CSI seasons 1, 3, 5
Rome season 1
Star Trek (Voyager, I think)
and several other DVD boxsets.

Also, the Borders next to Strawberries had 50% off all of their games. The only notable game that they had was Fight Night Round 3 for XBox 360.

Bwa!? deal where I live, thats unpossible. To bad i'm broke.

Is this one near the mall and Bestbuy? The plaza where OfficeMax was ? The only one that I can find is the 1600 S East Rd

Woah, a deal where I live too! Cool! It closes so soon though. I gotta see if I can get there. I'd love to see what I can find there.

And yeah, that's the one near Office Max and across from Borders/Sports Authority.

And Connecticut puts itself on the map for once!

The damnest thing I live right down the road from the Strawberry's and I didn't even know. I was wondering why all the people were there yesterday when I driving by. Also its a damn shame for them to be closing, I went there once from when I moved here (originally by the shoreline near New London) and it seemed like a very laid back place.

Well it looks like it might be time to see what slim pickings I can get there.

Since you guys are all in the area, any of you going to wait out for the PS3/Wii this November?

Oh snaps, that strawberries is where i picked up Resident Evil 3 GC for $30 bucks when it was rare and i found Marvel vs Capcom 2 PS2 for $30 bucks(it was like new too!)

Havent stopped by there in a while....but damn i dont even go back up to Central until monday. Seeing as how im getting my 360 this week it would be the perfect chance to get 2 games at least >.<

Oh shit man, im from New London too! I stay up in New Britain during the weekdays since ive gone to CCSU the last 3 years. I actually live in waterford now but i graduated from New London and everything. Small world

i wish someone could snag that KH2 for me thatd be awesome, if its a good deal (and not like 50 bux).

I am probally going to wait out the PS3 and the Wii which is unusual - I always get systems on their launch. Except for the 360 too. There are just really no launch games that interest me and usually there's something that I want to play thats exclusive to the new shiny systems. Zelda on Wii is pretty tempting but since its coming for the GC as well thats not a big enough incentive. The 360 just acquired a must have title for me (Dead Rising) but thats about it. with so much good stuff coming out for the older systems (PS2 Im looking at you mainly)... its going to be a busy holiday season for me game-wise anyway which just got kicked off with Okami. woot.

I think Kingdom Hearts 2 was $37.99 used and they still had at least 2 or 3 copies of it. I live about a half hour from there so I don't have any plans on going back before they close.

Im gonna stop by tomorrow before class, if they have a KH2 ill snag it(depending on how much stuff i get)

I went today and no go on the sale. When I went ( around 3 pm) it look like they were packing and sending the stuff somewhere. Maybe to the FYE in the mall. I think its only going to be open for a few hours tomorrow from what I heard in the store.

It suck because I saw some games I wanted if they were B1G1.

As for PS2 Gamecube and Xbox, there was a ton of games, but nothing really too new. If your looking for something in particular, let me know.
