Yeah, those are the ones. All the ones at my store were beat to hell so we opened it. My son loves it because its the only Optimus that he can transform without any help.

Finally found the Springer/Ratbat two pack for $7.50...Springer is nice, Ratbat not so much.

I really wonder why they charged 70 bucks for him (35 on clearance)?

At the time I considered buying two of them, one to keep in the box, the other to open...but 70 bucks for a toy..ouch.

Honestly, $70 is outrageously high, especially considering it's not a perfect replica by any means.

Wait so Target is clearancing the 25th Anniversary Optimus Primes?

Yeah $70 was a crazy rip. You can keep the comic reprint and DVD, thank you very much. The original was just $25-$30 if I remember correctly.

Got these guys today. I love how all of their weapons really resemble the G1 weapons, and how Megatron has a hole on the top of his hand for his cannon. That's something I haven't seen before with these guys.

Yeah, what is with the sudden Wal-Mart price hike on deluxes? Used to be $7.77 then jumped to $9.98 then last time I was in there they were like $12! Is everywhere going to raise the price on Transformers?

I would guess that everyone would follow Wal-Marts lead. I went shopping a few days ago and Target was $10, so they're not there yet, but I think it's only a matter of time.

Strangely, my Walmarts appear to still have deluxes at $9.97 or whatever Walmart's "around $10" price point is.

Yeah, I noticed the second walmart price hike the other day. Target is still at $9.99 and this week they are actually $8.99 on sale. Picked the deluxe Hound...well worth the $9.

Local walmart reorganized toy shelves which means there is more space for Transformers now. Picked up animated Jetstorm/Jetfire two pack for $21-22. Also saw new Smokescreen deluxe and Dinobot Deluxe.

I got my set from BBTS today too...I haven't opened them yet but they look ing sweet!

Thoughts on Deluxe Dinobot?

I don't know why, but the Might Mugs are saying "BUY ME!!!!" It's starting to creep me out :O

Found a Wreck Gar (sp) animated at Walmart = $21.99.

If you have a Sears Essentials near you (and you check them every so often for clearance games) don't forget to check out the toy section.

I got Shockwave there last week (and I've yet to see it anywhere else around here), and Voyagers are still $17.99 there.

Some Sears stores still have leftovers from the X-mas toy aisles, and it's all 50% off. Obiviously it's YMMV as to whether your Sears has anygood stuff left.

I saw Animated Grimlock for $10.50 at a couple of stores yesterday.
