Is it for the DS? Surely you know it is.

And yes, strongly recommended. One of my top five favorite games, along with Final Fantasy 2, Earthbound, Snatcher and Indigo Prophecy.

Actually, I'd put Phoenix Wright sixth, because Zelda: LTTP needs to be in that top five. So yeah, Phoenix Wright is in my top six favorite games of all time.

It's a toughie, I think it took me 5 hours on that case alone. You just have to keep going back and forth and examine everything.

Tha main problem with the game is for us toilet players. You can easily spend a decent 20 minutes on the bowl and not even realize it when playing PW, and then when you get up your legs are cramped and full of sparkling sensation because of the lack of circulation.

I think someone needs to come up with an exercise to keep legs fresh while playing on the toilet.

I just finished it today. It's a fantastic game, but the worst part is knowing that it has zero replay value. Once you figure out the cases, you can't go back and do it again.

Other issues are numerous grammar and spelling errors (yeah, it's text heavy, but none of that should pass testing in this day and age), and some hackneyed storylines. Once you finally figure out the proper evidence to present at a certain point in time, or the proper question to ask, the story plays itself out for you. Sometimes, it was so far off in its tangential relation to the case that it was pure guesswork that led to my making the right choice.

I surely recommend this game, but it isn't perfect. At the very least, it has (and will) hold a high resale value, so when you're finished, you can pass it on for just around what you paid for it.

I have been holding off on a DS until I could find Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney instore. Last week I finally found a copy at EB and also CC. Best (game) purchase I have made since Halo 2. I highly recommend the game.

Yeah, the final two court trials are bigger stretches than the others. I don't mean the probability of the case, but more what you have to catch in cross examination. The earlier cases are more realistic in those respects. IMO.

Phoneix Wright is one of the best games I have played in a while. I was lucky to pick up a copy at GS.

Just finished case 4 last night, and haven't started case 5 yet.

What really kind of disappointed me is that they didn't say what would happen to von Karma, they just kind of pronounced Edgeworth as Not Guilty and that was the end of it. Is it to be implied that von Karma was convicted as the murderer? Is he free to go? It doesn't seem like this was addressed...

I believe the first 4 cases are exactly from the GBA game, and the 5th case was made especially for the DS. So that's probably why they just forget about everything that happens at the end of the 4th case. In the sequel, it's pretty obviously von Karma goes to jail because his daughter takes over as prosecutor.

I'm halfway through the sequel. it's worth importing! I love the new "psyche lock" system.
