I just got a Japanese 360, and bought some US official 360 wireless controllers. While the Japanese controller has no problems synchronizing with the system, it seems like the US ones do not work with the system. Is there any way I can get them to work, or will I have to buy Japanese wireless controllers?

that seems weird ... are you runnin them off AA`s or a recharge kit?... my japanese controllers (with the recharge kit) were acting funny at first but after charging them a second time on my PC instead they worked perfectly... try swapping out the batteries and turning on the system with the american controllers (holding the Center X button) .....they should be universal.. i can`t imaging M$ spending the extra dough on region coding the controllers when they didn`t put much effort into doing it with the system..
