Just got a black GBA Micro clearanced out at $49.99 (plus an additional 20% off all clearance items sale-$39.99) at Fred Meyer. They had about 5 more.

Also of interest....a blue Animal Crossing Nintendo DS (old style) bundle clearanced for $99.99 (-20%= $79.99).

They also had a bunch of games on clearance for $9.97 (before the 20% off), stuff like Castlevania CoD (xbox), From Russia w/Love (xbox) and so on.

Sorry if already posted.

Cool. I'll have to stop by and check it out. Can't decide if I really need it though.

That's my problem. I didn't really need a micro, so I'll probably give it to my nephew or something. But for that price, hard to pass up. They had plently of Black Micros. They also had I think silver micros on clearance for $69.99 (-20% so $56 something) too, but only a few of them. Only one DS. They were marked down on the 8th, according to the price tag.

The cool thing about Fred Meyers is that a lot of the clearance tags won't be updated so they'll be way cheaper when they are rung up. If you have them price check some stuff, it will sometimes ring up for cheaper than the last tag (including the 20% off).

Micros are great. Throw it in your pocket in the morning, you never know when you'll be stuck somewhere boring, and you can whip it out. The release of the DS stole the thunder of this great handheld.

I was wondering about this because they had a "clearance" Micro at my store a few weeks back but I think it was $69.99 - then the 20% off. I figured that wasn't cheap enough. But they also had exactly the same Micros (same color) in the regular case for the same price (but not marked clearance). Someone bought the clearance one, but I wonder if the rest are also really clearance (and now $49.99). I did get one at CompUSA for the same discounted price($39.98) so I don't really need another, but the kids might like a second one.

Interesting to know about the DS Animal Crossing bundle on clearance though - I might get one of those instead. We could always use a 3rd DS in the house for Clubhouse Games. I already have 2 copies of AC, so I sure don't need that though. I guess I could trade it in or dump it on ebay, for, what, $20 at the most (since no case I assume)?
