it's a horizontal shooter. unless you turn your tv sideways.

maybe im wrong, but its vertical. you move up and down the left side of the screen, vertically. not left and right across the bottom, horizontally.

You got your definitions mixed up. Horizontal and Vertical do not refer to the movement of the ship, but to the movement of the screen.

For exampl: 19xX is vertical and R-Type (or Einhander) is horizontal.

Yeah, the game can be tough. But few shooters are a cakewalk..

It's a great game, I play it every once in a blue moon still. Get it if you can!! Square actually pulled this one off pretty well.

I traded SailorChrono for it. The game is tough as sin, but fun.

it was 97/98, square was making classic games left and right....*sigh*

well, to be fair with Square (hah, i made a rhyme), we won't know if today's iteration of games will become classics. Then again, I though FFX sucked bizalls. But alot of people liked it, so it may become a classic after all.

yeah i accidently made it a 3 day auction instead of 5 day so i doubt itll end as high as it should...which is y i posted it here lol
