I hope it's true, even if it's a core, with a memory card it would still be under $150 total. Even if it was legit, you'd have to be online constantly checking because they would sell out in 2 or 3 minutes unless they had thousands.

It might just be a regular Xbox... but I honestly can't see them selling a $300 system for $200 under retail. Sure it would move units and games but that's a big loss, most of which will be picked up for scalping.

If true though, I'd love to get my hands on one so that I don't have to share one with my brother.

Shit, I'd be down for it...I might need a new one as I think my 360 is starting to crap out. Damn thing is freezing more and more often. I wonder if an intercooler might help it any...

If thats true I'll buy a backup like 5 of them, but seriously that would make some nice gifts and ps3 can't hold anything to that price.

Maybe if you buy an HDTV (or other high price item), Amazon will let you add on a 360 for $100.

Or, perhaps they will only put an extremely limited number on sale.

The core doesnt come with the harddrive (which i believe is necessary to play XBOX 1 games), hasa a wired controller instead or wireless, doesnt come with HDTV cables anddoesn't coem with a headset.

I have no intention of buying a 360....except if it were $100. Then I could score a sealed HDD on ebay or something. And then talk my wife into getting me Gears of War for Christmas. And then talk my brother into getting me a wireless controller for Christmas. And then I could talk my PS3 into getting me an HDTV for Christmas. The opportunities are endless!

With an HDD it would be like $200, $250 tops.
