I just won a Gamecube and 3 games from a EGM contest! I won a gamecube, Wind Waker, Mario Kart Double Dash and Viewtiful Joe. I am just waiting for it to come in the mail. Any game pruchasing suggestions?


I own a Xbox and 43 games so it will complment very well as both systems game libraries seem to cover each others weakness. My brother just snagged a Dreamcast so Im just about all set for this gen. I buy my games cheap so any good cheapo suggestions are perfect. I visit sites like www.cheapassgamer.com everyday to save money on games so if you know of any sales, price drops, or clearance items let me know becuase that right up my alley.

I pretty much like every genre except for realistic sports titles, non-arcadey racing games and point n' click adventures. I like both western and japanese games both mainstream and niche- even ultra niche. I like alot of hardcore gamers fav titles, mainstream games and everything in between.

other than zelda, and viewtiful.. the only discs that have been keeping my cube busy are metroid prime, and ikaruga. bomberman is still one of the best multiplayer games evar, too.

Super Smash Bros. Melee, Eternal Darkness, and Metriod Prime should give you enough play to last the rest of the year (unless you're one of those guys who constantly plays all day everyday). SSBM and MKDD have kept my friends and I entertained since they were launched... and you got three of the best games for the GC in the deal (3 of the top 10 IMO)...

get Def Jam Vendetta if you don't already have it, and check out Metroid Prime definitely. one badass game. Skies of Arcadia ain't gonna run you cheap, but it's a good game.

Animal Crossing and Pikmin.

Yes, Metroid Prime is a must-have. I think the Res Evil games (remake and 0) are great too, but not for everyone.

as for GC games, a quirky game like cubivore can make you reaslise people still think up new ideas

eternal darkness sucks man dont buy it, i'd reccomend the mario party games and hitman 2 and madden 04 and NFS underground an so on.

I would reccomend Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness. Mario Sunshine is just alright, depends if you are into platformers. If you don't already have Beyond Good and Evil for XBOX pick that up too.
