Biggest highlights are the heightened trade in value for Gears of War--$40, $44 if you have a Edge/More card--and 25% off all used 360 games in store... and that's 35% percent off with Edge/More, even better than buy two get one free. Note: GoW is excluded from the discount, so no abusive flipping....

Enjoy

Yeah, I'm looking at picking up some 360 titles myself... even recent releases like RS: V are only $35.xx after coupon, provided your store has a used copy in stock.

Is the "edge/more" card you write about include the gamestop membership cards? or is that just another name for the gamestop membership and I'm just too dense to realize that ?

Edge (EBgames) and More (GameStop) are the two cards you get from those stores for paying the yearly $15 fee (also get a Game Informer subscription)... I guess you could refer to them as a membership cards, but I've never heard them called that before

lol...well, i'm even MORE embarrassed at this point as I just looked at my card and realized it has "MORE" written in huge letters below the gamestop name.

thanks for not beating on me, folks.

back on topic: so the 10 percent i get off used games with this card is cumulative with the 25 percent off ad for 1/5 through 1/11? I've been looking for a reason to get marvel ultimate alliance and having the price on a used copy drop to approximately 35 bucks will definitely push me over the edge!

Damnit! I just picked up Project 8 yesterday, after returning American Wasteland (wife bought that one by accident), so the sale is final. Figures....

Apparently Austin, Tx was a trial ground for that trade in. Since the beginning of December (and still now) GS/EB gave $40 trade in for the following games:

Gears of War
Need for Speed Carbon (360)
FEAR
Call of Duty 3 (360)
Scarface (PS2)
Guitar Hero II
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (PS2/360)

So in Austin Tx, and possibly nearby you can get $40-$44 credit on these.

Rhino almost tempted me with the Gears trade in for 40, and now EB is doing it too. I would like to hold on to the game, but it is really tempting. The 25% off coupon will definatly be used though.

Wow this will go nicely with the recent drop in some EA games. I wonder how much they will have Fight Night 3 used now that it's 29.99 new.

Ok this was bull shit.

Me "Hi, did Fight Night 3 on the 360 have a price drop today?"

EB "Yes it did, it is 29.99"

Me "Ok, how much is it used."

EB "39.99"

Me "So...its more used then new, shouldn't it be...cheaper?"

EB "I don't know"

That's not a good deal. You can buy it right now for $17.99 at GameFly (sale ends today though).
