This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

And the biggest developer you've never* heard of is...
1up posted an interesting article about this developer, who, for 25 years, has been secretly developing, co-developing, or porting tons of games for many large publishers (Capcom, Square-Enix, Konami, Nintendo, etc.). http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3156447 *That is, unless you know of the Starfy (Stafi) series. Cool story. May be a tad misrepresenting, though, as I can only assume most of the publishers who have Tose develop games for them use their own employees on the production side of things to help development along. Thus, it's not like they're doing things all on their own. Still, very interesting, and something I didn't know about.

The only reason I can think of is that they're too similar to the Kirby games, but that doesn't make any sense at all. Knowing the developer of your favorite games is like knowing who directed your favorite animes. You know a couple names and you really should know it the same way you know directors and what not, but you don't.

It's a good article and I'm surprised they got a quote from some at Tose. Knowing past history, that's the most interesting thing.
And no cookies, apparently as my plate is empty too. ;-) Not that it matters. I like the artcile though, even though it goes against what Tose is/does. |

I've never heard of them, or knew they existed. Pretty cool really.0
If I was a game company. I would use Tose if a deadline was approaching. Instead of putting my employee's into crunch time. I could have my employee's work normal hours fixing the big problems. While Tose fixes the other things. If I was given a shitty movie game to tie in with the release of the movie. I would throw that over to Tose instead of wasting the talents of my guys. IMO its a good thing for the industry. |
