Me and my friends split time between HoD 2 and Confidential Mission. Confidential Mission was cake compared to HoD... I don't think we ever beat it to this day... can't say the same with Typing of the Dead. I bought two keyboards and we versed each other on the DC. It was kind of funny thinking about it now hehe

Just wondering, is Typing of the Dead worth getting if you've already played House of the Dead?

I had no idea "Typing of the Dead" was available on PC!!! This is great news...

I've been dying to try this game...love "HotD" and I'm a very fast typist...but wasnt willing to buy a Dreamcast just to play this game...

Besides Ebay, anyone know where I can buy "Typing of the Dead"????

As far as I know, TotD is the same game as HotD2...the only difference is the interface you use to play.

The game is a few years old - the folder that holds the game's files on my PC was created in August of 2002. It might be difficult to find. I'd check any smaller stores in your area; it might still be out there somewhere. Sega also has a tendency to rerelease PC software in jewel cases for the $10 price range. Haven't seen TotD as a jewel case yet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist...

I actually saw a Typing of the Dead arcade machine at a Dave and Buster's once. I wanted to play it but felt a little subconsious about it. I thought I would look a little geeky sitting there typing away some zombies...

Women love typing of the dead as well. . .

I got House of the Dead 2 for DC a few years ago, but I never got a decent light gun to play it with (just not the same with a controller). However, I did eventually pick up Typing of the Dead, and it's a lot more fun that the original game it's based on. Heck, even my wife likes playing Typing of the Dead (she beats me most of the time), and she hates most other games.

I recently saw Typng of the Dead at one of those "Super Sales" that travel through here 6 times a year at various fairgrounds etc.

it was like $5.

After I left I looked it up and foundout it would have been a decent purchase...

Oh well.

This is the most money I ever spent on a game. It was wicked fun though playing 2 player with a friend... I still have it and play from time to time...

I've never played HOTD2 with a lightgun but it's still one of my favorite games ever.

The *quality* voice acting and script alone makes it worth playing.

If you've played through House of the Dead 2, then you can doubly appreciate the extra humor in Typing of the Dead. Imagine seeing all the cutscenes again, only now instead of holding guns, the characters have Dreamcasts strapped to their backs and shoot zombies with a "Keyblaster". Yes, it's true. Bloody hilarious.
