The Seattle Post Intelligencer stopped posting their ads online...which is why I dropped them from my post.

If someone is scanning them in manually, I've yet to hear about it.

Saw the UMD dealie in my paper today (in OR). I went in and snagged a Ren & Stimpy Vol. 1. They were tagged $14.99 with no indication of a sale but rang up $4.99. Too bad Star Trek Nemesis isn't part of it. I considered getting Tomb Raider but passed it up.

This is the first UMD I've ever bought, and I still probably won't ever watch it . But had they been $4.99 from the start (or at least under $10), maybe the format would have made it.

I asked about the Elite when I was there and they had no idea but assume a new ad will come out with some sort of bundle in it.

Not that they had any when I was there, but that Wii bundle is one of the best I've ever seen. I mean, if they are going to force you to buy 3 games, Zelda, SPM, and Sonic are 3 great games to get. I'm surprised they didn't put in at least 1 stinker in that bundle. The Elite bundle will probably include the same crap their normal 360 bundle has though...

Well thats how supply and demand works. The game bundle and accessories are pretty much what any new owner would want. Just like how the wii bundle has the right games as well.

Fry's console bundles have always been MSRP, except for special sales, i.e. - Holiday sales or Grand Openings. This is especially true when you are talking about launch bundles. Today is the Elite launch after all. One might argue they throw in a discount when they are bundling a console with a whole bunch of budget titles (i.e. - the PS2 bundles right now). But who really wants all of those budget titles anyway.

If you're looking for a discounted launch system bundle, the only way to attain that would be if Costco/Sam's Club carried it.
