Don't take this the wrong way, but you'd be an idiot not to pick that up at that price. And if you do, let me know, I WANT SCUD, dammit!

If you do bite, you better open that thing while the guy is still there to make sure you don't get a box o' rocks...

If it comes with a receipt, pick it up. Make sure you match the serial # on the receipt with the X360.

buying used 360's is a crap shoot, remember no warranty + RROD = SOL.

That TV is going to be dead weight. You should tell 'im to keep it or donate it to Goodwill on your way home from picking up the lot. You'll get quite a bit for Street Fighter The Movie, and anywhere from $5 - $20 for the rest per piece. The Saturn will get you about $30

Go get it now, you'll miss out if you didn't offer yet.

If he doesn't get the lot, there's a store in my area that has Scud (disc and manual only) for Saturn. If you let me know how much you'd be willing to pay for it, I'll pick it up if it is at or lower than the price you're willing to pay.

Whoo, boys (and girls?), I had a tasty score last night.

There was an ad posted yesterday with the title "broken DS Lite, $25" and located in Culver City, very close to both my office and my home. So I figure, what the hell, I'll vet the ad and give it a shot, especially since the ad just popped up.

So I call the number posted and see if they have it and what the problem appears to be. The lady tells me she has it, it belonged to her son and it just doesn't turn on. Neither the red light nor the green light go on, plugging in the charger does nothing, blah blah blah.

I tell her I'll give her $20 for it "since I like playing with electronics, and for $20 I'll give it a shot." She agrees, then proceeds to call me back and tell me she couldn't find it. Okay, she will still give it to me once she finds it. Then she calls me back again and tells me that her "wife" (???) took it with her to her work, and was planning on taking it part, blah blah blah, but she didn't take it apart and will bring it home that night.

So I get over to her place on the way home from the office, and hands me an onyx black (sweet, the color I was hoping for) DS Lite and the charger (it had its original stylus and the GBA slot cover) as I slip her a twenty. No box though, damn it. Tell her thanks, I will play around with it, blah blah blah.

I get it home and the thing is in excellent shape. No scratches or damage of any kind on either screen, nothing broken or cracked, just a perfect looking unit. I try turning it on, nothing. I try plugging it in with the charger, nothing. I try my own charger (I also have a black DS Lite), nothing. I take out the battery and replace it with my own unit's - bingo.

The thing turns on just fine. So I put the battery for the unit into my unit, sure enough it doesn't turn on. But then I plug in my unit for charging with the battery in it, and it turns on, begins to charge, etc.

So then, cluing in, I try to charge the other unit with my own battery still in it, and it doesn't light up. So the connection is bad. It doesn't matter which of the 2 chargers I use, so I check the unit's 5.2 V DC power input. Once I compare it to my own unit, I see the problem. It looks like the connection piece in there was bent so there was no connection.

I take a small screwdriver and fix it, and it charges just fine and turns on just fine. I charged it with its own battery today, and it plays just fine. All buttons work. Touchscreen is flawless. No dead pixels, nothing.

Now I just want to sell it on craigslist for some quick cash - how much should I ask, LOL???

Found these on CL just don't know if i should bite on both of them.

NES + 2 controllers + 9 games:
Super Mario
Millipede
Duck Hunt
Jeopardy
Tecmo Bowl
Othello
F1 Racing
Nascar
Tetris

The guy wanted $60, i offered $40 and he said he would take $50. The games aren't that great though.

SNES Carts:
> Lufia & the fortress of Doom
> Secret of Mana
> Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtules

He's asking $50 for all 3??

Hell no to both. $40 already is really pushing it with that first one, because the quality of games is awful, let's be honest. Besides Tetris, Super Mario and Tecmo Bowl, there's nothing compelling in that lot, and even those three are cheap and beyond common.

For the SNES carts, TMNT (assuming it's TMNT4, the arcade game or whatever), drags it down, basically, you're paying $20 a piece for Lufia and Secret of Mana, and $10 for TMNT, so overall it's a push at best. i'd pay no more than $30 for these three total and only if I really needed 1 of the 2 high quality games. But since I already have all three, the only reason I would buy these is to resell and paying even $10 per game on those is just too much relative to the potential profit.

Just finished playing some Super Mario Kart and Super Mario All Stars! today has been a good day (sorry about OT)

@barbblerelf - Snatch those N64 games quick man, there is a lot of crap, but DK64, Yoshi's Story, and MK64 will get you $40 or so for those alone.
I know that would. I actually have them all from when I was growing up. I would buy them if it wasn't 30 miles away.

I emailed the seller about the NGage I'm not so certain I'm going to get the Saturn though, I mean if I offer $50 w/o the tv, maybe I can get it, I'm not certain if I want to hassle with keeping it or selling it or what...

They changed the ad too

Now says

Nokia NGAGE it appears to be in demo mode and needs flashed!?

So does that mean it's a busted piece of hardware?

DK64, Yoshi's Story, and Mario Kart 64 are worth your $10 right there, the rest of the trash you can resell for a $1 a piece, maybe even $5-10 a piece if they are complete or if you find a big enough sucker...
