Anti-video game pundits, here is your proof that video games are the violent tools of the devil. After playing outside on the trampoline, UK resident Brian McConnell left his three-year old alone to play Wii Tennis while he fetched the boy a drink. While in the kitchen, Brian heard two loud bangs. He returned to find Adam using the controller to smash the 42-inch plasma TV screen. Needless to say, Adam won't be touching a video game console for a very long time, and his father will be keeping an eagle-eye on the boy from this day forward. Not even a beefed-up wrist strap could have saved this poor TV.
The punishment?

Quote:
Brian has now vowed to keep an even closer eye on his son, adding: "He is banned from the Wii for two weeks, and I won't be taking my eyes off him."
Seems light to me.

Sounds like this is proof that trampolines cause violence.

Some guy killed his daughter over a 360, people got shot for PS3s...

This is nothing. Plus, the kids only 3 years old.

From playing Xbox Live, I've noticed that the English are extremely bitter.

Racial slurs, threatening to ban you from Xbox Live (!?), constant complaining... It's hysterical.

I wouldn't let the kid play games for the rest of his life in my house.

When I played PGR3 online all I meet was English people, and the were nice.

That kid got off easy. I used to lose my NES for months at a time for bad behavior. And none of my bad behavior was smashing in a $2K+ tv.

Meet them in a game with guns.

Guns bring out the inner demon.

Thats a little bit harsh, I would ban games from him for like oh a few years but not for ever or maybe one year if I play right infront of him to realize what he did. Also any game with a gun or any online sports games is swamped with assholes, trust me on that, there is no way getting around that.

Little bastard busts a 42" plasma and all he got was two weeks of no video games? I would beat that kid to death and then the fun would really begin!

No what you do is first take all videogames away, then start a tab (also if you feel the need other punishment is welcome), when the kid hits 16 you force him to get a job and what he makes goes to you for breaking the 42" plasma, and make sure it is every penny of the check just to torture him for breaking the plasma, and to give him some teenage discipline, rofl.
