My Target has a bunch of Ghost Squad, but they are put in a section with a bunch of $29.99 games and it doesn't have any clearence price tag on them.... :(

Try to buy one. Worst that could happen is they try to charge you full price, in which case you say no thanks.

I was going to get Dead or alive extreme 2 for 7.48, but I knew that it was considerably worse reviewed than the first one, and frankly, even though it was cheap achievement points, I wasn't really sure I wanted the game in my library (uberguilty pleasure).

Oh well, I've still got my CoD4 sealed on my desk waiting to get played, so I'm not regretting the decision.

i saw those Caleco handheld game for $7.48.

Yep, I'd say it's definitely worth $7.48. Pretty fun old Sega games and you can use it as a plug n play for your TV.

I bought Tony Hawks Proving Ground limited edition for the 360 for $29.98 today at the target in Southfield Michigan. It wasn't on the regular clearance racks but it was on the same endcap that had the cheap wii and GBA games.

I'm starting to think that THPG won't ever drop from $30. I may have to buy it at 30, there's only like 7 left.

But then again, if it survived the holiday rush..

Check it again today, Monday is usually Target's markdown day for games, isn't it?

Went to a Target yesterday. They had 4 copies of Ghost Squad on an end cap. Many of the tags on the shelf said the games were $29.99. None of the games had a price on them.

So I price checked Ghost Squad and it came up not found. I took it to the register and asked what the price was. The cashier scanned it and it came up not found. He looked confused and then looked around like a price list might drop from the sky at any moment.

So I said, "I read that it's been discontinued and it's $8." He looked at me and said, "Eight?" I said, "Yeah, well, 7.98."

He rang it up at $7.99 and I was on my way

This was the Target in Falls Church (Seven Corners) Virginia. They still had 3 on the shelf yesterday afternoon.

I picked a copy up today - 9.98. It was also in the 29.99 section, but when i scanned it, it came up 'item not found'. Was able to name a price and buy it!!!

LOTR:BFME shows up as not available in the locator and not available at newer stores while Overlord shows not available at all stores and I tried multiple zips from around the country.

I guess my chances of finding one of those is pretty slim.

I snagged Mario Baseball GC for $7.98. Saw it for $20.98 about a month ago. I'm very surprised no one picked it up.

The Target near me puts clearance stuff near the telephones across from the game section. I have no idea why they put them in the game section where people looking for games might find them.

Haven't been able to get on here much because of the holidays, but a few days ago I picked up two of the Activision Preview Wii DVDs for 66 cents each. However, this would be a HUGE YMMV, because it was "as is" because the plastic seal was in pieces. Very nice though, as I now have a nice white case for Wii Sports, but I am disappointed that it isn't an official Wii one, ie it doesn't say Wii on the inside(or is that only for 1st party games?). Also saw Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Special Edition(they made a SE?) for 360 for $29.90, but didn't pick it up.
