I have noticed that the "smiles" feature list the 'ninja' image as the the N*word.

You might think this is a mistake but it occurs twice in the smiles menu for the second 'ninja' icon.

It's not a mistake. When people type it it puts up the Ninja image the same way as when you type the f word appears.

How is it offensive? Please explain to me the logical process that goes through your brain, that tells you that seeing the Ninja Gaiden logo, instead of a racial slur, is offensive. It only exists as an emergency censor system should some goofy biggot come on CAG and drop a bunch of N bombs.

I didn't realize that was what it was meant for. Thanks whoknows for explaining. But I dont think I have to defend my initial response.

so what if i want to say he looks like the ninja from ninja gaiden. and used the $$$$er symbol

it's the exact opposite of offensive, it's practically defensive: Cheapy doesn't want the word around, so, like , he has it censored.

Why not go after the beeping sound whenever someone curses on a TV show, it's the same premise.

If you're insulted because it's on the list, I'm pretty sure cheapy can't help that. It's just how the program works
