I think finding new retro music to play at the start of the Cagcast is starting to get harder for CheapyD now that they're over 80 episodes. Suggest songs that have yet to be used or better yet, post links to the retro songs he should use here.

May I suggest Devil's Crush and Streets of Rage 2.

Devil's Crush is actually the outro music for CAG Foreplay this week.

I'd like to hear more Double Dragon music, personally. More specifically: (although it sounds a little weird in that video.)

Man that would sound good remixed into 180 BPM hardcore track...... Gonna look for a Midi now.

If you need Double Dragon tunes I actually have the full soundtrack from the original... very nice.

the old music is great, but why not a game that was made in the past ten years

why not a new game, any of the jpop ddr songs would be great, but the first song in vib ribbon that would be awesome or the instructions:

then any parappa song:

any other new songs would be great, it doesnt have to be a classic game that is always played.

IMO,
The CAG Foreplay should stick to new release music and leave retro stuff for the CAGcast.

Though, I guess with the virtual console and Live Arcade, retro music is all of the sudden NEW music.

As for classic music, I would say blaster master, but that was used recently. How about Journey Escape for the 2600. Has that been used yet?

Oh and I also loved the music for Section-Z (the NES version). One of my favorite games of all time.

How about for the first week of August show, you have music from Metroid. It is the game's 20th (or 21st in Japan0 anniversary of release.

Just a point of clarification for the game.

It was just 20th anniversary for the Metal Gear franchise, so how about some music from the first game?

Yeah, one a month or something that will be future perfect.

Game music that gets me are the beginning of Dragon Spirit, Wanders from Y's 3 city scene, Dungeon Magic hidden water spirit location, Little Nemo start menu, first and second level of Predator on NES, first level of Monster Party, snow level in Super Ghouls and Ghosts, first level of Batman on NES, intro music on Crystalis, screen above first town in Crystalis, intro and first level of Guardian Legend, and anything from the original Rygar or Battle of Olympus.
After that, it's just catchy and holds no magic
