i wasted 40 minutes of my life trying to preorder halo 3 at cc today, and use the 15off100 coupon. the guy said the coupon would work, but of course when they put in the upc for the legendary edition it wouldnt come up.

Does anyone know if the Halo Clix figures will be worth waiting until 8 am for Halo or should I just go to Gamestop/GC/Wal-Mart?

Just to let you guys know, the 1600 points deal at Best Buy does NOT work with the Legendary Edition of the game. You actually get NO deals for ordering the $130 version and you are not even guaranteed to be able to pick it up on launch day.

It's worth pointing out that the first two deals linked for the BB offers DO stack. So you can pre-order Halo 3, add an accessory over $29.99 (Xbox live cards and marketpoints count as accessories), get the free $10 gift card, and also get the 1600 points for $4.99 all in the same shopping cart.

Just to add a few things, I believe Wal-Mart is doing a midnight launch also and apparently having checkout lanes reserved for Halo 3.

It looks like you're doing B&M stores for launch, but if someone is willing to wait for the game and wants to save a little you can get it from familyvideo.com for $46 shipped.

GameRush/Blockbuster SHOULD have a $10 Gift Card with purchase (or pre-order). Coupons mailed out to Blockbuster.com members (still not e-mailed yet).

Costco has a good price if you pre-order. You don't get anything free, and they don't open at midnight though.

But the prices are lower than MSRP by a bit.
