Just looked on Amazon and saw that the charge station is 19.99. Looks decent for $20. Don't know why it's so cheap today.. Is it the DDTD?

I got this about a month ago at Best Buy on sale for $24.99 . It actually works pretty well. The only gripe I have is that the cradle doesn't work with the silicone covers. There goes $20 (for the 2 covers) wasted.

I have this and it's really great. Highly recommended.

I second the recommendation and add that Nyko now sells the batteries separately in different colors:

I have my 4 remotes color-coded thanks to these so I won't pick up the player 3 remote thinking it's player 1.

i think you can order the covers on nyko's website. BTW, i would buy this, but i already have rechargable batteries for them.

Just roll the covers up so that the contacts are accessible.

Whats the battery life like?

I wouldn't recommend it - I bought a "Charger Grip" for my DS Lite. Fried two different Nintendo branded AC Adapters and NYKO's customer service has been just plain horrible to deal with.

well, just because their DS charger wasn't quality, doesn't me that the wii charger is bad, Plus, the DS already has a charger(as the wii does not)

It's not just the fact that their DS Charger was faulty, it's the fact that their Customer Service treats customers like crap.

Damn, and to think Nintendo's free jackets are going to screw this up.

Thread title is misleading. Was hoping the price was $9.99. OP you might want to rename, "Nyko Wii charge station 19.99 after $10 off".

That is why they are on sale. Probably won't work with the new covers.

huh? Whatever controller you pick up and turn on becomes player 1. And if you are talking about when all four are connected, that's what the little blue light at the bottom of the controller is for.

ok. Thanks for the suggestions. A mod fixed it for me.

So why exactly won't these work with the silicone skins? Is it because it just won't fit in the cradle or because it blocks the connection? If it's just the latter you could always just cut a hole in the back of the skin with an x-acto knife. I said the hell with the skins and bought a black chuckii set (remote and nunchuk) and a set of red leds.
