Just drop the price of the HD DVD player already. Toshiba already has a stand alone for under $200 so this should be $149 or lower.

Do they scan Serial numbers at all on the receipts? I couldnt find one on mine that matched up...

When I first saw this I thought the actual console was included as well. That would have been cool. Right now it doesnt seem worth the 165 for a slightly better HD picture.

YOu could sell some of teh stuff you dont want to recoup some of your money but this could be kind of a pain in the ass.

Yeah when heroes season one HD was retailed at 99 and goes for close to $30 on ebay due to the flood of these combos... its not easy to make much money back.

Me hopes they release an updated version of this drive and slash the price before holiday.

ive been waiting for a black addon for like ever..

I bought my HD DVD add on when it first came out. God this is such a awesome deal Im so jealous of anyone able to take advantage.

Getting closer for me to purchase, but <$150 is my price point.

Really nice deal, and I would love to have it so I could have both formats (just ordered a PS3), but damn I don't like the add-on part. My 360 already has died once since I got it in January, and I have no idea how long my replacement will hold out. I wish I could get a standalone player this cheap. Stupid Microsoft and their shitty hardware.
