Yeah, it was in store today. Mayeb the release date was supposed to be Wednesday. I didn';t stop in BB yesterday to see if they had it.

Luckily I got a manager to price adjust for the ad. And I used teh GC that came with VF5. SO I got that for $30 plus this for $30 with a $10 GC. Pretty sweet.

Also, lok in your stores. They have $15 off $100 coupons good in December. Might use that on GHIII.

Best Buy will NOT price match gift card deals. Tried it today after Toys R Us was sold out of Super Mario Galaxy.

Yes they do. Ijustdid it today. All you have to do is take the original add to customer service and have a talk with the manager. They will looks for two things; date of the, anything that says dates on when they will give the gift card. I got mine done in the West LA Best Buy, but all Best Buys in Los Angeles are doing it.

I originally went to CC to get Crysis and the gift card. They didn't have the regular edition, just the SE. I said fine, I'll take the SE and gift card. After she rang it up, the SE + gamecard came up $59 + tax. I said, No, it's $49 with a free $10 figt card. She called a manager over that looked like he was 18yrs old. He goes on to explain to me that it's $49 and you pay $10 as well for a gift card. I pretty much re-explained it all to him in slow basic words (pretty much calling him an idiot), so he goes to talk to another manager. After about 10 minutes he comes back all pissed off. He didn't say a word, but price adjusted everything to what I had said. So, I walked out with the SE that I really didn't want, but I planned to go back in a few days and try to exchange for the regular.

On my way home I had a little time to kill, so I went to BB. I brought the CC ad, went and found Crysis (regular edition) and COD4 PC. I went to the Customer Service desk and said "I need a price match please". After I showed hime the ad, he said "sorry, we don't PM gift cards" so I said "I have done it here in the past, you just adjust the value of the gift card off of the sale price". So he goes and talks to a manager and comes back and say's "you are right, so the price of Crysis will be $29.99". He also PMed the $39.99 price for COD4. So I walked out with Crysis and COD4 for $70 + tax.

I plan to return my Crysis SE and gift card from CC today.

So, after a long story, give it a try at your BB, be nice and ask them to ask a manager if you have to. May not work for you but some of us are getting it.

Well, that sucked. I went to two CC stores (City of Industry and Montebello, CA) and they refused to give me $39.99 with the $10 gift card even after showing the ads. I guess they changed it. Did anyone have issues today (not yesterday, Wednesday)?

I am going to try local Best Buy (closest to my home) and pricematch with CC's or Fry's Electronics ads. Screw the gift card (wanted to use it for CoD4 too even though I don't care about the game too much) and CC.

Ultimately one showed up and said the deal is $49.99 + $10 gift card. Sucks, was that close... don't understand why this CC always have employees so careful with the ad mistakes.

Well, Crysis is finally available online. Circuit City is the stupidest company. Why did they delay being able to order online until today? Its 2 days past the release date, plus I have to wait for it to ship. The stupidity continues. I had a $10 gift card from a previous order I was going to use. I already knew I was going to get screwed out of the $29.99 or $39.99 deal others got but I don't have a CC close to me. My stupid Wal-Mart (SuperCenter my &#$) doesn't have Crysis yet, so I didn't want to risk having the ad expire before I tried a price match.

So I thought, well this should be the last game I'm buying for a while so I'll use my gift card from a prevoius video game deal. GUESS WHAT? Just because the order included that crappy $10 electronic gift card, I can't apply a gift card to the order to purchase? WTF? The two have nothing to do with each other. So I'll be sitting on $20 of gift cards instead of being able to use either of them.

Plus as I predicted Call of Duty 4 was out of stock by the time they let me order Crysis so no chance of getting up to $100 to use the discount coupon. 99% chance it wouldn't have worked anyway.

I even called the Indian sales force and complained and she couldn't do anything about the gift card or match the flyer price "error".

Yeah, I bet you CC marketing did this on purpose to screw us. Bah!

Oh and I got the game for 39.99 from Fry's last night.

CC shot down the $39.99 plus free gift card deal on Crysis as well. The ad says 39.99, that's the price listed, and the words gift card are next to it, which makes one assume that it's 39.99 plus a free gift card, NOT

49.99 with a 10 dollar gift card which technically makes it worth 39.99, but not until you buy something else later, but that's not a marketable way to do business

after explaining to an employee how dumb it was to list a game for 39.99 and make me pay 10 bucks for a gift card, he annoyedly told me that i could either buy the game for 49.99 with or without the gift card

I left without purchasing the game. Screw CC and they're misleading advertisements. They won't get a dime from me.

I tried to get it at WalMart (the lesser of two evils), but they didn't have any copies, so I guess I'll pick it up at Best Buy tomorrow and try to get a 29.99 price match.

Well, don't bother at the CC in Rosemead, either. My experience? Stopped in this morning for the Crysis $39.99 + $10.00 GC, item rang up at $49.99 with GC, showed the CSR the ad, CSR explained to me that I needed the Gamer Card to get $10 off, explained to her nicely she is BSing since the Gamer Card only gives 10 PERCENT not DOLLARS off, she still didn't get it, manager came over and pointed out a sign printed out in MS Word which was a price mistake from corporate for the regular edition, so I pick up Collector's Edition, rang up at $59.99 and CSR rang up a $10 GC, didn't swipe my credit card and walked out. PM'ed to Best Buy on Foothill without GC and picked up 2 50-pack Verbatim DVD+Rs.
