Best Buy is instituting a company wide price match for the TRU ad for Mario Galaxy for WII + 25$ Gift Card. Your best buy employee may not be aware as it was posted late closing tuesday night on the employee toolkit. Have the cashier ring up Mario Galaxy and enter promotional SKU # 6867688
It will bundle Mario with a $25 issued Gift Card.

If you are still having trouble, ask one of the media workers go check the news page, its right there at the top of the new news page.

Damn the holidays are nice because of all this desperate competition. Like Mario won't sell anyway.

If I bought it monday night and got turned down for a price match, can I bring my receipt in and get it?

Just to let you guys know, I just came back from the Mira Mesa BB (San Diego, CA) and there were 2 other copies left on the shelf. Not sure if they have more copies in the back.

Also!! A lot of employees do not know about this promotional deal going on, so just let them know that you contacted corporate and confirmed this and have them put in the SKU number. This will help to avoid having to call and wait for a manager to come.

My local Toys r Us on Barry rd in KC had SMG for 44.95 so BB matched that. I paid 19.95 for the game and 25.00 for the gift card. Not bad. . .

Well, waiting in line, someone had come to Milpitas Best Buy to price match Galaxy against Toys R Us. I'm going to assume the employees there got the memo, cause they allowed that price match but not the Assassin's Creed one. *Shakes fist*

Ill wait for the b2g1f since its essentially the same deal here x2 only Ive got 3 Wii games in mind Id like to get.

No kidding?! Sweet! I'm waiting for $45 worth of BB gift certificates to come in the mail later this week before I go pick up SMG. It'd be great if they'd PM that TRU deal - though the nearest TRU is 30 miles away. I'll give it a shot.

You can print them off the rewardzone website if they've been posted to your account if you need them fast. I think it takes 30 days to post though. But all transactions you use your RZ card on show as "Pending" a few hours after purchase.

Just got back from BB and they did it without a hitch. In fact, I brought up the SKU they need to put it under and the cashier couldn't figure it out. She got a manager over, which I thought would throw a fit, and the manager already knew what to do.

I ended up getting a few DVDs for the In-Laws with the GC but it's worth it just for the pure fact that my wife gave the OK to pick it up.

My BB in Burbank has plenty of SMG AND AC in stock. Only few CAG that I know had PMed there with no problem. Tonight, I called my BB about the TRU offer but I didn't mention about giftcard and I realized they know what I'm talking about and they said, "Are you talking about the giftcard?" and I said, "Yes!" Whew... now I can get the $25 giftcard or deduct $25 from SMG or AC. I'll be heading to BB by tomorrow morning. Fingercrossed

Wow, this would even work in places where there are no TRU's, such as North Dakota? If so, I am all over this. Hopefully it doesn't sell out by tomorrow.
