Hmm...Rock Band listed for $59.99. Anyway you could post a pic of that to see if it shows the actual box with all the instruments or just the game itself. Is the game even available alone? Any clarification on this would be great tinyandi. Thanks for the post.

Thanks OP. Gears of War (PC), should that be $20 savings? Or should the price be $39.99 with $10 savings? MSRP is $49.99.

just to clarify, Sunday is the day to get to the store early to get a wii? My nephews live in a town that only has wal mart and their mom has pretty much given up so I would like to do this for them. If anyone has any info let me know. Thanks!

It still amazes me how Nintendo (or rather retailers I guess) still pull this bs every year. The Wii's have been sitting around store shelves for months and yet once Thanksgiving passes by, it's like someone went to the stores and bought ALL of them magically so that it's OOS almost everywhere. Truly, the practices of retail never cease to amaze me. Like the Times Square TRU in NYC had literally a WALL of Wii's in the past couple of months (I know since I would see them during those weeks of B2G1F sales including a few weeks ago when they had the Wii games only B2G1F) and yet now it's like "oh yeh, check back tomorrow, we might be getting a shipment in stock". The old bait and switch, man it pisses me off. Hey corporate America, if you want our money, JUST SELL US SOMETHING AT A GOOD PRICE INSTEAD OF HIDING IT AND MAKING US BUY YOUR $#IT! *whew* There, I'm done with my venting at retailers. haha

Speaking of OOS, anyone in NYC see the rock band special edition boxes at any BB's? I've been checking the major 3 for the past week and no one seems to be getting any anytime soon.

I've ~never~ seen a Wii sitting on a shelf since it released last year... and I don't understand the rest of your rant b/c the logic seems so misguided.

well, if they are hiding them, they are hiding them well, I haven't seen a Wii on a store shelf since I managed to snag one for myself back at a K-mart back in April. This hasn't been for lack of trying either. I have several friends and family members still looking for them. I do live in a much smaller market than New York, but anytime Wii's have been available around here, they have been gone within minutes (from what I've heard anyway). I don't think it is all just retailers blowing smoke, not that they don't do that often. Damn you for making me semi-defend corporate america, though I do love taking advantage of their sales.....I think all CAGs do actually......does that make it like sleeping with the enemy...? If so, then we're all whores....which I can live with.

All three consoles were in good stock at the Manchester, CT Best Buy at several points this year. I don't know what the current situation is. I always walk in there and think, wow, there's at least a few Wiis and I hear they're supposed to be rare.

I wish you could get one down here in Florida. I don't think they shipped an even amount of these out... Best Buy by me has them stacked all over the place.
