So, did anyone get into The Matrix Online beta? Im intreaged my it. Monolith is makeing it and they havn't steered me wrong yet, so here's hopeing. I signed up for it so i hope i get accepted.

If you pre order it that you automaticly get into the beta. Im really consitering doing that. Also, the price hase not been determened for it yet. I voted for 5 a month but it will probably be 10.

dude, just about anything is better than "enter the matrix" but im pumped none the less. Man i hope monolith does a good job. Im sooo close to breaking down and preordering to get in on the beta. I just got payed so i think i might.

Don't be so sure, as I understand it, the combat isn't real-time, it is somekind of weird tangent of card game where you shuffle moves back and forth and whoever has the best arrangement, wins the move, and attacks. Not suprisingly, I haven't seen much talk at all about the combat system, other than a few tidbits. If someone is available who has greater knowledge of this game's combat system, feel free to correct me.

I went to ganestop the other day to preorder it and they never even heard of the beta deal. grrrr. I think i will try a few other game stores and than just give up and wait. Has anyone seen anything on the preorder deal in any stores??

so far i have seen the deal on EB and gamestop web sights but the people in the store still had nothing. grr

I'm not that interested in the game really. I don't think it would be able to hold my attention for very long.

They haven't started doing a beta AFAIK.

I've heard the players like.. roll dice, and the higher number gets to do an attack.

Sounds stupid.

I was just accepted into the Beta oon Thursday night. Still downloading patches, etc. now.

If you want an online matrix style game than try The SPecialists

It requires Half-Life to play because it is a mod.
