EB's already tried this trick with me once before.
Thanks, though!

Hmm very tempting. By very I mean if EB Games or Gamestop has nothing tomorrow (which will happen) or Gamecrazy doesn't pull through for me either I may bite on this. Thanks OP.

Check the video game department of Amazon, and click the 'Deal of the Day' on the right of that page...

I remember when Meijer.com was having a grand opening but at the end, they refused to sell out for $30 and decided to cancelled all the pre-ordered then gave us 20% for the next purchase.

Just FYI, I believe the Gamestop deal on Timeshift was one day only so this is people's best bet at that price now. It looks like a pretty decent FPS and with no tax now, I'm considering it but I've already bought/been given so many games this month my backlog is ridiculous.

yeah i was thinking about jumping on this. No tax, No shipping, just a clean 29.99 for a decent game.

but i have too much else i need to get through and by the time i'm done with those games, i may no longer be interested in Timeshift unless I gamefly it.

but definitely a good deal, i wonder if they'll drop the 360 version of Orange Box to $40 when Best Buy does?

I liked this game. But it didn't have much replay value. The multiplayer is novel & interesting for a while; but it didn't have that staying power like a Halo or CoD.

I probably would have liked it more if they didn't alter their original idea of having a future cyber-steampunk setting & more animated art direction. I thought that looked better than how it turned out (trying to make it look realistic). Even though the earlier art design was for the original xbox.

But for $30, you'll probably still get more fun/$ than you would at the movies.

This is very, very funny. When EB had the one day sale last week on Timeshift for $29, I emailed Amazon and said they I had noticed that they had done some pricematching lately of game deals...well, coincidence or not...

I thought the demo for this was a ton of fun, but I'll be damned if I don't already have an absolutely enormous backlog.

Think I'll have to wait a few more months.

Well worth $30, IMO. Not a fantastic game, but it was fun & it was entertaining enough to finish (which is more than most games).

I ordered mine.

Now all we need is Mass Effect at $29.00.
