Great game if your a VF fan, one of the characters have the same move set as Akira. Although yes the battle system can be boring.

I love Spikeout. There's nothing extraordinary about it, but yet somehow I find it very addictive. Playing online is cool, but the only ones who ever still play it are from Japan, so the connection tends to die quickly.

Back a couple of years ago I'd play online with the #1 rated Spikeout player on the leaderboards and that guy would slaughter every enemy on the hardest difficulty without being touched! Truly a sight to see!

$11 for it is a deal for beat-em-up fans.
