Although I have no interest in it, Crisis Core for $32 is a good price. Keep up the good work, Fry's. Thanks for the info, Fido.

It's a pretty good game, even if you're not a fan. However, it's definitely aimed at the fanbase. I recommend checking it out if you like action-RPGs, but if you are neither a fan of the series nor the genre, then by all means - skip it. I've heard Dark Sector is better than the reviews indicate, if that's more your speed.

I've been curious about Timeshift for the 360. Would $30 be worth it?

I haven't played it myself, but a friend of mine told me it was pretty good - just not great. Here's the ign review if you want to take a look: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/837/837971p1.html

Frys does not just give out newspapers, to my knowledge. If you're looking to pm, their big ad of the week should be in your Friday newspaper (get it? Frys - Friday? ROFLCOPTER!).

Oh, and about pm'ing and getting the GC; it doesn't always work, but you may as well try. I didn't work for me this time with Crisis Core, but last time with DMC4 both offers stacked - so yeah, worth a shot. An alternative method would be to just buy Crisis Core without the pm, get your $10 GC, then go back and ask for a price adjustment the next day.

thanks a bunch zephie, i don't get the friday newspaper or any sort of paper to my house so. not sure if im out of luck or not. is there any other way i can get CC to know that frys is having a sale and i want to pm. i know online ads work, but frys doesn't really have one, to my recollection.

im pretty new to PM'ing. havnt done it once and just nervous, since i dont know what to say and do really.

If you don't have the ad, and can't get a hold of it, I guess one alternative is to just tell them about the price at Frys. They usually call to confirm the pm, anyway; even should you bring in a print ad (this happens to me about 50% of the time). Just make a note of the phone number of your local Frys, if the CC you go to doesn't have it or can't look it up.

I guess this method is a bit of a longshot, so good luck.

Not entirely true. The entire wall ad is printed out on 8.5x11 typing paper and stapled together creating a mini-booklet of all the sales. If you look at the various clerk stations throughout the store, you'll spot them sometimes near the computer or even right there in plain view for the taking! Or you can do what I did, just go to customer service (if the line is not 20+ people) and ask for it! Back when Sonic and the Secret Rings had its first big drop to $24.99, my Fry's ran out, so I went to customer service and asked for the wall ad so that I could price match at Wal-Mart. They gave me the booklet, no problem...worth a shot if you need the physical ad.

The 2nd method won't work because your receipt would say 29.99 for FF:CC and 10.00 for the GC, so doing a PM would be pointless. Trying to get this game for 22 bucks would be really pushing it, as most CS reps at any retail store wouldn't dare let you combine offers like that. In the case of DMC4, I bought the CE and went back a few days later with the Fry's ad. The ad showed the reg. ver. on sale for 52.99 but the PM worked because the CC reps had no clue about the different versions, just like I expected. But it looks like you really lucked out if you were able to do a PM and get the free GC all in one shot.
