Tempting, but Target is clearancing this out right now so I think I'll wait and hope it drops farther there.

out of 30 bucks, how much does cheapyd get ?

Finishing up the PS3 version. $30 ain't a bad price for it, but $20 would be better.

'Course, with the $10 "next-gen" tax, I think $29.99 is going to wind up being the new $19.99 for all but the crappiest games.

You know, I have always wondered how commsioned worked as well.

This is just a guess, but something like 10 cents per click and maybe 5% from the sale...

Just keep checking your local Targets. I saw this for $29.98 about 2-3 weeks ago. It may be $14.98 or $7.48 soon. I also saw Motorstorm, Lair, The Orange Box (PS3), and Naruto: RON being clearanced out at $29.98 recently. This is exactly why I buy few games at launch, they go down to fast to pay full price.

$25 + tax + gas money doesn't make $30 seem so bad, plus Cheapy gets some of the money to help run CAG.

I would bite, but with GTA IV right around the corner, and a couple other games I just bought coming in soon, I don't think I'll have time for it, unless it gets cheaper. = )

As one of the few full-length games I've beaten this calendar year so far, I can honestly say that the 360 version is worth it if you love this show and are an Achievement junkie. You'll get a good helping of points just for the playthrough, but getting all the collectibles will take some time and replay. And you need to get all of them, at least for a given character. The time trials can also be frustrating fun, worth a few points a piece.

If you just want to experience the core game once and laugh quite a bit...RENT.

There...was that post non-controversial enough? And is my asking that semi-smarmy question an infraction for itchy-fingered mods?

Sometimes I'll read a review where they talk about how a game is 'broken'. This game is 'broken'. The camera is a mess... making a jump is total chance... it's horrid. How did EA let this one through QA?

Er...BROKEN, not BROKE....Unless you mean the game is penniless.

holding out for a lower price still. the demo wasn't fun for me but man do I love me some simpsons.

I actually just picked the 360 version up new at Best Buy yesterday for $11.99 ($39.99 - 70% manager's clearance). I too thought the demo was just okay, but for that price, it was hard to resist (especially with local co-op). Might be worth checking your local BB to see if the game is similarly clearanced, but of course, BB clearance deals are about as YMMV as they get.

definitely worth it, the story is laugh out loud funny. the gameplay is mediocre but it's worth playing through for Simpsons/video game fans

I'm going to try and pick this up when my Target drops it to $12.48. But I've been trying to research online if it's worth picking up the Wii version instead.

PS3 or 360, the game looks awesome in HD, especially the 2D cutscenes

The final boss fight is pretty funny, FWIW. Plus the aftermath.

Don't know how much I'll play it again now I've beaten it, but I had a good time with it.

Hmm, after getting the $50 code from Amazon for HD-dvd player, this is tempting
