I love the game, it's also a great way to get a camera out of it. Plus the expansion should be out anytime now. I would recommend this to people who enjoy CCG. The camera comes in handy when I'm playing my buddies on Burnout: Paradise.

Cheapy,
If I got this from the Amazon Warehouse, does that count if I wanted a price match to save $8? (They sold it to me after the last DOTD for $50.)

Yes, I know... but, it would've been nice if Amazon could offer something different for the DotD. You know, like Uncharted for $30... I would totally dig that.

got it last week from Gamestop for $20 after 35% off. if you want it used its $29.99, trade the game to Blockbuster for $36 by itself if ya just want the camera.

Now that's an idea... I want a camera, but am unsure to extremely skeptical of the game itself. hmmm...

Thanks, CheapyD. Glad I caught this one. I've been meaning to buy the eye for a while now and a game for 10 dollars (and a decent one, at that) is perfect in my book.

How much is it possible to play without spending lots of money on the cards? I plan to buy a PS3 soon and EOJ seems like it would be fun, but I remember my mtg addiction and I don't want to deal with $4.00 booster packs at all, I'd buy a starter deck or something at most.

Its a slippery slope. I thought I would make due with the starter you get and then I got an Ultra Rare in my free pack. Two boxes of cards (200 dollars) later and I still didn't have a set. So I'm getting out now before its too late. Ebaying my Ultra Rares and trading in the game at blockbuster it looks like. Also, its kind of a pain in the butt to get the camera working under anything but ideal lighting situations.

And remember that in addition to paying for packs (unless you're going the photocopier route) you'll also have to pay a $15 fee to download each expansion. So you're paying for the privilege of using those $4 packs of expansion cards you just bought. Very, very lame.

Was going to pick this up this weekend used from Gamestop, but I think I'll just shell out the extra for a new copy now.

Oh, that's just ing ridiculous. Paying them money for the priviledge of paying them more money.

Me and my fiancee wanted this bad enough this weekend we almost paid retail (I know, blasphemous). So I picked this up since we both enjoy CCG's, I'm sure we will get our money out of it.
