Argh...no DLC on sale just game bundles?!

Might consider Warhawk as I never got play that game, then again probably hardly anyone plays that game. Still wish there was a single player campaign or at least bots to play against.

Ok thanks Ian & Frisky, I'll take care of it on Tuesday when my new refurb system shows up then. I wasn't sure what to think when I saw the information on the other thread and was concerned I wouldn't get in on the sale right at a time I didn't have access to my PS3.

It may not have Call of Duty-level numbers, but there are enough people on that finding games/servers shouldn't be hard at all.

I'm new to Playstation 3 and the Playstation Store. I just purchased my first Playstation 3 during the Black Friday sale at Amazon.

I see a lot (A LOT) of things I would love to buy but of course I can't get everything I want. However, I would love to get more of what I want if there are big sales coming up.

Does the Playstation Store have Christmas Sales? If they do I'll hold off on buying certain things that are more pricey.

There should be a couple of sales over the next few weeks since we already know about the Holiday Collection Sale on the digital retail games this week.

I'd use one at a time, maybe two. As we're probably approaching the end of the console's life cycle, there's no guarantee that the service keeps going.

Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but Sony just sent emails out to people containing three 30 day PS+ codes (1 for yourself, 2 for friends). I dunno if everyone gets the email, tho. I'm curious about the all "1 for you, 2 for others" thing. Can you not use all 3 on your own account? Are they blocking that?

In case anyone missed it:

Sony is sending out Plus codes via email with a subject line of "Free Games and Discounts for You and Your Friends". There will be one code for you and two others for your friends...and, of course, they can all be stacked on one account.

Note that it does require CC info to be saved to the system and it will also set auto-renewal to On and add a recurring 3-month subscription under your services list.

So be sure to turn those two items off and delete your CC info once you are done. (if you care about that)

Marvel Pinball is going to be free for PS Plus members (includes the original 4 tables) and the Fantastic Four and Captain America tables will be 1.49 each.

It's still so odd to see the prices of digital releases on consoles in relation to digital releases on PC. Microsoft, Sony, and the publishers really have console-only folks over a barrel in that regard.
