The digital copies of disc games are compatible. It's always been confusing because the first time they did something like it was with Burnout Paradise and those saves weren't compatible. I think the only other one that doesn't work is Assassin's Creed 2 because the digital version is a GOTY style version of the game that wasn't release in the US on a disc.

How do you do this? For that matter, has Sony endorsed a certain brand? I wish they made a drive like Microsoft does for the Xbox 360.

I know the downloads don't dissapear once you get them. I'm just talking making enough space to download all of them before the option to download them vanishes at the end of June.

Just check out, it'll be in your download history to download at any time. So you could download them in July, October, or whenever as long as sub is active. Look for the shopping bag icon to be sure you own it.

Exactly. Click on the game you want, click Download on the next screen, then click Confirm on the popup warning you that it's a free game for PS+ but won't be playable if your subscription expires. Then DON'T click Download on the next screen; instead, hit circle and back out. Then you can download it at any point you want in the future (and play it as long as you are part of PS+).

Thanks to both of you. That's what I'll do. I've already d/l Infamous 2, LBP 2, Space Marine, and Saints Row.

Think the HD is full now. Still want to add the R&C game (even though I didnt like the demo much). I'll put it my download history for later.

you can buy any brand you want i think i have a seagate or a wd im not sure i havent had any issues with it so i havent taken it out in a while. the biggest size you can put in i believe is 640gb i could be wrong so check the hardware forum in the ps3 section. its easy to do the main thing is you want to back up your saves first onto a thumbdrive or ext harddrive because once you swap out youll have to reinstall and dl all your stuff.

Actually the biggest size you can put in it right now is a 1 Terabyte hard drive. It's just that most hard drives that big go up to 12.5mm and you need one that is 9.5mm to fit in the PS3.

The Drop for this week:
Quote:
PlayStation Vita

Gravity Rush (Also on PSN) – Prepare yourself for a new perspective in Gravity Rush. Take gravity into your own hands as you take the role of a heroine seeking her past and the means to protect her future in a world that’s falling apart. Shift from streets to walls and buildings as you manipulate gravity to save a city from its enemies and perils.

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection (Also on PSN) – Accept the mission and play three great chapters in the Metal Gear franchise with the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Included are in this PlayStation Vita package are Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. As a bonus, the original MSX games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are included, showcasing Snake’s very first missions!

PlayStation Network

PulzAR (PS Vita Exclusive) – Pulzar is a mind boggling, potentially Earth-shattering puzzle game that turns nearly any flat surface into an epic battle against time and a looming celestial event with the use of your AR Play cards. In mankind’s desperate last stand against certain catastrophe, it’s up to you to command a network of explosive rockets and try to blast asteroids hurtling towards Earth into a harmless meteor shower before they reach the planet. Using precision laser technology, you have only a limited time to program the guidance system using a series of reflectors, splitters, and filters that activate the nodes that will launch the rockets towards their targets.

Batman: Arkham City – Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security home for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

Babel Rising – In Babel Rising, gamers play as God, preventing humans from building the tower of Babel. Gamers can use their divine powers by hurling bolts of lightning, summoning massive earthquakes or unleashing gigantic floods upon the Babylonians.

Dirt Showdown – An expansion on the rough-riding racing action of Dirt 3′s gymkhana competition, Dirt Showdown offers three modes focused on the wilder aspects of off-road driving: Race, Showdown and Demolition!

Just Dance 3 (PS Move Compatible) – The world’s #1 dance game is back — and now, you can play it with the Playstation Move! Just Dance 3 gives a new twist to the already spontaneous and outrageous dance game. The game kick-starts the party with over 40 tracks that span all kinds of musical genres and include popular artists like “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, “California Gurls” by Katy Perry featuring Snoop Dogg, and “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green. Also included are legendary favorites like “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” by Kiss. With a variety of all-new gameplay modes, tracks that allow up to four dancers to uniquely shine, and innovative cardio training options, Just Dance 3 was made to bring the party and keep America dancing!

Question on this DLC. Is this a error? I was able to download Lunar Tec Screamer for free but the Whippy had a price to it.

Had to look up carnivores to see what it was. Port of a 1999 pc game. With the lack of second joystick on a psp the xo[]^ control your movement.
If this is not the correct game or info I apologize.

The Best-Selling Games for May:
Quote:
The Walking Dead made a big impression on PSN players this month, with the first episode of Telltale Games’ episode zombie series claiming the top spot in May. You’ll also notice a great resurgence in the PixelJunk series, due likely in part to May’s deep-discount PixelJunk sale that saw many PixelJunk favorites sell for a just buck.

In PS Vita news, Escape Plan’s iron grip on the throne has finally been loosened — NetherRealm Studios’ bone-crunching fighter Mortal Kombat takes the top slot this month. In PS one Classics, Legend of Dragoon’s long-awaited release reshuffled the usual crowd of top performers. Starting this month, by community request, we’re also happy to integrate a new chart examining PS2 Classics performance! In May, Max Payne stole the show just in time for Max Payne 3’s arrival on Blu-ray Disc.

Get the download on all of May’s top sellers below. Did your favorite game make the grade? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

That space marines 40000 game is kinda weak but i like all the other games we got from plus. Euro plus wasn't as lucky as us again lol. I'm guessing we get darksiders free and probably outland, which i justbought for 5 bucks next Tuesday, but this Gay Guitierrez guy that does the drop has kind of a weak blog and should be fired.
