In other news, cdwow sent me an email again saying that their "supplier" has delayed shipment of SingStar Queen again until 4/3. If I get one more email from them about that, I'm just going to cancel it and order from somewhere else. OMG it shipped today!!!!!!

Any word on trophies yet? I was hoping with the release of Pop and Queen in the UK we'd get a patch...

I give this update a 4 out of 10! The 2 ghetto country songs should be fun to sing. They should have gone with "Float On" as their first Modest Mouse song, but maybe we'll get it eventually.

Oh, I have Rock Band 2, of course. But I like getting the music video (and duet options) in SingStar.

I've been searching for the last hour to no avail so can anyone please tell me if PS3 Rock Band USB mics are compatible with any of these Singstar games on the PS3 ?

Nope, SingStar games require SingStar microphones.

Ooh, gotta get the Triffids. I know that song as it's done by another band but it's better than nothing. And Sherbet. Wow, as an Aussie, living in NYC it's nice to be able to get some of the music I grew up listening to.

Looks like it - it fits in well with the rest of the PS3 only games "we are going to make this hard and take up most of your life to get everything" pain in the ass trophies. you whoever makes these lists. 1000 ratings... 300 songs. ya you trophy list maker. But is this a patch or for vol 3?

that reminds me I should really start putting my stuff online but yeah these trophies are inane I mean why not have a trophy for getting a top 10 world wide score while we're at it. and judging from the page this is supposed to be for Vol 3. Ugh I'm still not sure how i feel about them breaking out MORE volumes. I'm not a big proponent of downloading game and such matter of fact I've been called Luddite but all the same I thin kSingStar works as a download songs system rather then keep buying disc version

I don't think that means 1000 4 star ratings, just over a 1000 ratings with the average being 4 star. Or maybe I'm deluding myself... And... I'm sure they'll be trophy whoring videos and enough people trying to get the trophies that it won't be as hard to get the online ones.

And I think I hear TMK coming with an explanation why SCEE keeps coming out with disc versions instead of focusing on DLC.

yeah we can cut that explanation off at the head. I care about it only minimally

Ya, I am sure it means you have to get 1000 ratings with a 4 average. Look at some of the ther trophy reqs for some other PS3 games:

MLB 09 (All BRONZE trophies)
-Get 1000 hits in any combination of modes.
-Strike out 500 batters in any combination of modes.
-Get 1500 RBI in any combination of modes.
-Hit 300 Homeruns in any combination of modes.

And the higher Warhawk and SOCOM trophies are INSANE... And Buzz where you have to play a few hundred games to get the plat. I do not know enough to talk about the other games like Killzone and R2, etc but I am sure they are just of a pain in the ass. Ya - you PS3 trophy list maker... you.
