Didn't see this posted, don't know if it is part of amazon's 360 accessories sale, but here it is...a good deal if you're looking for a second set of drums...

GS sells used Rock Band drums for $20 each because it just shows up as a wireless 3rd party controller in their system.

Given how much abuse these take, I don't know if I'd ever buy a used set of them...I mean they take a pounding-literally. I would probably only buy these new...

Hey--your timing couldn't be better! I ordered the 360 drums for $53.99 on April 13, so this juuuuuust fell within the 30 day refund window. I called and got $5 back.

What is the email address you write to get a refund? I just bought these a week ago. Or is there a web page form?

I'm tempted as I bought Rock Band game only when it was a DOTD on Amazon a while back, was planning to use my GHIII guitar with it.

I think I'll hold off for now and think about it.

I figured it out, I think. I clicked the "Help" link on the main page. Selected my order and then the drums in the order and clicked the "Email" button. In the "Issue" pop-up menu I selected "Returns & Refunds" and typed in a message to request the refund of the difference, noting the price I paid and the current price and the date of my order. I'll update this if and when I get a positive response.

UPDATE: yep, it worked. I didn't initially get a response, not even a "your message has been received", but tonight I finally got a response saying my card would be credited the $5 difference. Thanks OP!

drums, a guitar hero II controller, and a headset are the poorman's rockband. this is a good deal if you're still holding out.

im still holding out on a price cut for the entire set.. then again i may just get the solo game and use my gh guitar..

I bit on these. My 7 year old wants to play the drums - she has been begging me to buy this. I have the poor mans setup. Guitar from GH3. Microphone from Boogie, and now the drums for 48.99 shipped.

You guys should hold out till GH4 releases and buy the drums for that game. Its gonna be 10x better then Rock band and releases later this year.

10X better? is there a website that says that or pictures of these new drums?

BTW, remember, if you break your drums, EA replaces them for free. I'm on my second set of drums, 3rd pedal.

So, don't go buy these just because you trashed the ones you already have.

Knowing activision, they won't let it be compatible with rockband.

Correct. However, who's at fault for that? Hopefully they'll not only fix this with GH4, but they'll switch to USB as well, and make the PS2 and PS3 guitars, etc, all compatible, like is the case for Rock Band. I have a PS2 now, but eventually I'll probably end up with a PS3.
