Great deal, or you can pick up Mass Effect at gamefly for $27.99. Its used but comes in original casing. My copy I ordered worked.

Gears JUST BARELY dropped to $34.99? I should buy a copy because I can't do acts 2,3,4,5 because my disc is scratched...oh well.

This makes up for that lunchbox the other day, too bad I already paid $60 when these came out.

Might as well wait for the reprint of Gears coming out for $40 very soon. Comes with a bonus disc with some more mutliplayer maps among other things.

Wow, Mass Effect dropped so quick compared to Gears. Doubt any CAGs don't already own Gears and Mass Effect seems to be a hit or miss with people. I tried it and it wasn't for me.

I think this might be a better deal than the Gears reprint since all of the extra content on the reprint is free on Xbox Live.

Nice, Amazon does a terrific job picking Xbox 360 games to put on sales. Too bad they didn't wait for the re-release of Gears of War though, might've gotten a bigger discount then.

They are probably getting rid of their Gears stock because of the re-release and Mass Effect because of the PC version.

its very interesting that theyre doing 2 games for the "deal" of the day. it'd be nice if they did that everyday since it'd potentially increase the rate of getting a good deal. but then again maybe people's wallets would suffer.

i might be in for mass effect at 35$

Per Speedy's weekly heads-up, looks like Mass Effect 360 will be $31.99 at CC next week. With tax here, it's about a wash, but CC may be a better deal for some of you.

good chance Amazon price matches that next week.

One would have to wonder if people could pull the same shenanigans they did a while back for Time Crisis 4. They had it as a gold box deal for $50, and a few days later it dropped in price to $60 or $70, and people were able to price adjust their gold box purchases to get $10-$20 more dollars off the list price.

Mass Effect is well worth the money. I played through it 7 times and now have every achievement (including the DLC one).

Sweet have it in my Gold Box... $33.24 FTW!

I've rented the game and I loved it, now I have my own copy. Can't wait to play it and fire up that DLC.

Mass Effect was far too slow for me to enjoy. Besides, if you want a copy go to Gamestop and you can get it for the same price used with an edge card. Even more with the coupons floating around.

I did the same thing to get ME a few weeks back. Happy with the purchase from GF even if the disc isn't pristine (it's still in GREAT shape). He's right, the cases are razored so they still have the "DO NOT SELL BEFORE" security sticker on them and the case, manual and inserts are all there and untouched. I actually got a case that had been cracked/chipped and a quick email to GF customer support fixed it. They sent me a brand new case/manual/etc. for free and I didn't even have to return the first one!

If you're into new copies of games, I highly recommend ME at this price. Best I've seen for new.

As far as Gears...if you didn't hop on the Gears train yet, hold on to your cash and invest in the re-release package a month from now.
