Bush responded telling the kid to ask Laura because she was a librarian.

Trust me, this is even better. A moderator asks him a question about sovereignty, and he completely blows the answer.

Well frankly I think it is a dumb question and wouldn't have answered it. Instead I would hav emade a dumb joke poking fun at the reporter.

It's not a dumb question if you live on a reservation, obviously. Basically politicians from areas without big American Indian populations just don't care about these issues, as evidenced by Bush's non-answer.

Being president of the United States he should know. But the fact is that politicans at the national level don't care about this stuff, which is too bad because there are some big problems that could use some fixing.

Exactly. I have no clue what they were talking about, or what they really want me to do, no one does, not even the president because no one cares and the natives already hate us and are billionairs with cainos. It's the way he said "I don't have a in clue" that is bad, because all the voters are going "Niether do we, but we can say that better than you".

You know what's sadder than the president's answer, is that I work at a news station and we didn't cover this. I like watching stuff like this, but the media is so boring. We'd rather cover Paris Hilton's missing dog.

We did have the video of the President's dog taking a crap behind him when he was talking. Now that's entertainment.
