Hey, I'm looking to pick up FFT A2 for the DS and I'm wondering if anyone knows if you can save during the somewhat incredibly long battles?

I don't play my DS that often so I'm hoping to be able to pick up from where I left off without too much trouble.

It has a quick save feature. But once you load it again, it will delete itself, so no reloading in middle of battle.

just close the lid and it will hold your spot for a looong time. I've held my copy mid battle like this for 10hours before, once closed it really uses no battery. The second you open the lid it starts right where it paused basically.

yup. I'll get to work in the morning in mid battle, close my DS, work all day, and open my DS 10 hours later on my way back home and finish the fight.
