basically we get 20.00 credit for each of those games towards the wii play? also...is there any point in using the edge card with this...do we get any other discounts??? i have resident's evil and cabela deer game to trade in.

I traded in my wii play for 11 something today (20% +10%)...but i need another dang controller. think this way is cheaper than buying the controller itself.

thanks for any help.
Yes basically you get $20.00 credit for each game, I had a ghost squad that I got at Target for $7 and bought a used RE4 with 25% off coupon and 10 % edge card, then traded them in, and got a new Super Mario Galaxy for $10. The edge card will help you a little after you checkout and buy the new game, but not much. Oh you might want to check Walmart for Wii-motes, I picked up a couple of them for $20 a piece a while ago....

Thanks neem (something neem...sorry i forgot the name!), and fshaa!
I can't believe u were able to get the wii remote for only 20.00!!! I will have to check the threads now to see the details...wonder if our walmarts still have any left. I guess I'll just do it for one Wii play and have my husband trade the guys in his name, without my edge card. After I sell the Wii play game back to them...it should be around 24.00...not bad. Not as good as ur walmart find though!!

Well I bit on this offer and took in Gears and Operation Darkness and got Grand Theft Auto IV.

Well im not sure if this has been mentioned but it stacks with the Edge card so my total for GTAIV was $17.84 (after Tax) Which to me is pretty sweet.

I bit on this deal; I bought Blast Works and RE4 (wii) for $11.69 ea. @ 1 GS, and traded them into another GS for a new Civilization 360 game. Here was the weird part on the receipt of the transaction:

It shows Blast Works with a base trade in of $5, it then gaae me a "Bonus" $14.50 price overide, then a "Disc" of $1.95 Frequent Buyer 5%

For RE4 it's base trade in was $6, it then gave me a "Bonus" $14.50 price overide, then gave me a "Disc" of $2.05 Frequent Buyer 5%.

This brought my trade in total to $44.00; leaving me to pay $15.99 (instead of $19.99) for the game. I did not use my edge card, but probably should since someone else got it to stack) so the Frequent Buyer thing is a new one to me. Also, the clerk had to adjust everything manually, so perhaps he hit a few odd buttons here and there; unsure. All I know is I have Civilization now for $23.38 GS credit and $15.99 cash - unsure if I'll keep it or take it back (sealed) to pay off a preorder on something else.

thinking of getting madden 09 for wii with this deal, i have blastworks and resident evil to trade. prob is i dont really want to get rid of resident evil, i would like to buy it right back from them using the 25% coupon. anyone have any luck buying right back the game they just traded in? or would it make the GS employees head explode?

If you really want to keep your copy, then you should buy another copy and use that to trade in

Sorry if this was already asked.
I was wondering the same thing, because this is the only thing keeping me from biting on Alone in the Dark (I really liked the demo) for the 360.

EDIT: I just went to GS and traded in SvR 2008 (PS3) and RE 4 (Wii), and got $20 for each, but originally SvR traded for $12 and RE4 traded for $6, so I only had to pay $10 for Alone in the Dark because it was $49.99.

Does anyone know of any good games to flip with this deal...and the new 25% off Ps3 coupon?
I need one more game to trade in, to go buy back the SSBB I stupidly traded in.

Sega Superstar Tennis is the best bet. With coupon/edge, it's down to $8.45 + tax. The other closest contenders are Viking and Condemned 2, each at $11.70 + tax.

Ah...thanks! I don't think I'll find a Sega Superstar Tennis :(

Also, I see that Blazing Angels is on the list too...and 17.99 without the coupon. Hope I can score them.

Has the games from the list changed at all? Are you guys seeing info about this deal around your GameStops? I just want to make sure I don't show up for this and I get the "I have two heads look".
