Some GameStops (if not all) are having a year end clearance sale. Supposedly, all DC items (consoles, games, VMUs, controllers...whatever) is 30% off at the moment.

Looking at their prices, this makes the system around $21 used, with controllers and VMUs going for $3.50 each.

Ever wanted a DC? Now's your chance! Too bad I'm broke...

i may be a cheapass gamer, but thats just a crying shame. SUCH a great system.

Do you know if Babbages is included in this sale? I'd love to pick up some more Dreamcast stuff.

the DC is $19.99 used, so basically you can nab it for $14 right now, unless the sale's over.

DCs are 30 bucks there, so it would be 21 like the original poster said.

They're $19.99 at the Gamestop I was at yesterday. I should have got one. Do they come with all leads and plugs?

I picked up a second DC yesterday at my gamestop. It came with all the hookups and a controller, not bad for $14

I have a black Sega sports one, so it's time to get a standard white one.

If I would have known it was on systems I would have picked one up but I got Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and a freeloader type disc for the dreamcast for 27 bucks

Is the 30% off sale still going on? A Gamestop near me has the DC for $19.99 and the 30% off would make it even sweeter. I want to pick one up for my niece. I have all the next-gen consoles and she ended up playing my DC more than other console when she was here this past Xmas vacation.

I went to a GS this past weekend and they told me that the 30% discount now only applies to DC games, not the system. But it could be a YMMv thing.

Game Stop is Cheap ass in a bad way. No way is the 30% sale going to last for 2 whole months!

I went to two diff Gamestops Newburgh and Poughkeepsie NY by me and both said there was no such sale going on.

Checked the Gamestops in Milford and Orange, Connecticut. They only had a few games and were all incomplete (No case and manual.) The manager said that they may get more used DC games in the future.

This deal has been going on at my local Gamestop for several weeks now. Picked up a Dreamcast for $15, but had to return it because it didn't work.
