Is this setting up for a B2G1 deal around black Friday? Anyone remember what they did for last black friday?

Any minimum trade in value for the games for this promo? Wondering if I can bundle 1 high value trade in game along with 4 crappy old games to get that 40% trade in value on the high value game.

The plan all along was to update the old thread when the deal went active - keep using that one . I just didn't want to jump the gun in case the deal turned out not to happen...

Edit - Hmmm... On second thought, since jp0213 seems to be on top of updating TIVs I'll just leave this one be and let him do it (with my help). The thing is, did you go back to the last thread and get the last few weeks of trade-in prices from there? I was just about to do so after I changed that thread to reflect the current deal. If not, I can add them here instead. I had been waiting to see if the wacky pricing they introduced a few weeks back would stabilize but it appears it has not, so I say just go with the lowest values reported and anyone who gets something better can then be pleasantly surprised.

Oh, and I'll take out the text in the OP about the DS/PSP/GC/PS2/Xbox stuff not counting for this deal - it should work for this deal unlike the last one (and to answer mick16 above - yes, bundle it up with 4 crappy games to get the max boost!).

Sorry about that io, I didn't even notice in your first post in the other thread about switching that over to this promo. I apologize for that. I hadn't read the first post in that thread for a week or so and when I copied over your list I just scrolled past the main text to the list. I didn't get the last few weeks because I wasn't sure how up to date the original list was. I just got the past 2 days or so that I seen.

Yep, every black Friday they do it. Plus they've been B2G1 free crazy this year, so I imagine there's zero chance they'll skip out on running the deal.

I inquired about hot shots golf out of bounds for the PS3....I was quoted 15.25 in credit.

I was a bit mad only in that I spent 20 minutes or so cleaning up the old thread and putting all the new info in only to find out afterwards that it had been moved to the Graveyard (clearly not by me) and there was a new thread created. At least next time post in the old thread so people know what's going on (and that goes for the mod who moved it as well ).

But if you are going to edit the OP and update with trade-in prices you'll save me a ton of time over the long run so it really is better this way .

But yeah, we need to go back 10-15 pages into that last thread and update the list. I started putting dates of the last update in about a month or so ago, so any TIVs you find near the end of that thread that don't a date in the OP need an update. Maybe I'll just go ahead and do that and then leave it to you to take it from there.

Edit - Alright, I went back about a week in the old thread and updated stuff here. So it is good to go for you now jp0213. There's really no use going back further because with the wacky price changes they implemented recently those are too far out of date at this point.

I hope there wont be a next time on stepping on a mods toes. Definitely not a thing I plan on doing on a regular basis. I was a little worried at first about finding myself silenced. Been banned for less on other forums. I can help out with the updating from the old thread as well. Just let me know where you get to on those pages and I can pick up from there. I don't want to start on it though until I get confirmation, definitely be bad for us both to be editing at the same time.

On the updating, I spend a whole lot of time on CAG so it shouldn't be too hard. Most days at work I'm on here anyways.

Does anybody know what the TIV is for Madden 09 Collector's Edition (the one with Head Coach and the DVD). They won't give a quote over the phone

Indeed. It's a given that we will see a Black Friday B2G1. The economy is weak, and most GS stores I go to are absolutely flooded with used games, especially for the 360 and Wii (mostly shovelware, though).

Good lord, no, I'm not gonna silence someone for that! . My beef is more with the mod who dumped the old thread into the Graveyard when I had specifically noted in the OP last night that it would be good to use Monday as soon as the GS details came in.

Anyway, like I said, once I got over it I actually thought it was a good idea. I was getting tired of updating TIVs anyway. I wouldn't bother going through the old thread any more. I went back about a week - anything more than that is liable to be wrong anyway since the prices have changed so dramatically in the last 2 weeks. So let's look forward and not back and just continue on from here .

what math is there to do? Cellfire is at least the same, if not better, but has a max of 2. So if you trade more than 4, it makes no difference. If you trade < 4 use cellfire.

I really hope they do the B2G1 sale near black friday. LBP+Naruto PS3+Valkryia Chronicles for $99 =)

You know, I completely forgot about the trade-in deal half of the Cellfire coupon. I've only used the 20% off used game purchase part. Any trading I have will probably be in small quantities so I'll just end up using that (don't have to throw in filler games). Still, the TIVs should go in this thread.

Any word if you can use the edge card on this deal?
